Yes, prior to the industrial revolution atmospheric CO2 was a function of temperature. As the oceans warmed CO2 was released. As the oceans cooled CO2 was absorbed. After the industrial revolution the correlation between temperature and atmospheric CO2 was broken with CO2 not following temperature or leading temperature.

When Pluto is close to the Sun, its surface ices sublimate (changing directly from solid to gas) and rise to temporarily form a thin atmosphere. Pluto's low gravity (about 6% of Earth's) causes the atmosphere to be much more extended in altitude than our planet's atmosphere...
