LOL.

Why in the Hell are Brits in Estonia?

NATO has been threatening Russia for a long time. Apparently they want WWIII.
They are there at the invitation of the local government, apparently.
Yes, of course. They also are a threat to peace. The US has plenty of military personnel in Poland and the Baltic states. Also, threatening world destruction.

They all need to GTFO.
It may well be that they are guarantee to peace. The barrier from spreading 'the Russian world'.
LOL. Not even close. They are there to threaten Russia, not keep the peace.

Are you aware of the numerous military interventions by the US government, these past few decades? Russia is not nearly as aggressive as the US. Plus it’s military is a fraction of the size.

The Oligarchy dislikes Russia because it can’t control Russia.
For Eastern Europe, keeping Russia behind its border means peace.

If you count military conflicts in which Soviet so called military advisers and 'limited contingents' were engaged, then the gap won't be so wide, I suppose.

You will be surprised, but the oligarchy controls Russia to the core.
Since the fall of the USSR, Russia hasn’t threatened any nation. The US and NATO on the other hand, are constantly threatening Russia.
Nonetheless, Russia has taken part in all military conflicts (Karabach is an exception to some extent) on the territory of the former USSR.

Expanding NATO to the East is a natural process. The ground for it is the desire of East European countries to get security guarantees about not being included into Russian sphere again.
It’s a recipe for WWIII and the MIC loves it. Clinton promised Yeltsin NATO wouldn’t expand eastward but of course, he lied.

Imagine what Americans would think if Russian divisions and nuclear missiles we’re along our borders with Canada and Mexico. And they performed massive war games regularly.

It’s way past the time to bring all our troops home and mind our own business. America is now much like British Empire of the 18th and 19th centuries. The sun never sets on the Empire. Imperialism reigns.

It is not about the NATO per se. It was possible to create another military organization in East Europe (say EENATO) with the same purposes. Nothing would change in this regard.

We are edging to a new Cold War. The main player of the opposite side will be China. Russia will be playing important but second role in this. Guess whose side it will take. Repeating of Caribbean crises in some way is quite possible.

What surprises me the most is that there are people who believe that it is possible to 'mind own business' and pretend you are in some magic house which can hide you from everything. Our world now is one big county where everything - economy, technology, finance, transport, military cooperation - is intertwined and dependent on each other.

That’s silly. The US has unparalleled military strength today. No nation can touch it. The world knows this and they know our government is fucking crazy.

The problem is the US government is controlled by the billionaires and they love war. So, the US government goes around the world looking for war.

You like so many Americans are under the false premise that evil dictators are out to destroy us. Fear not my son.

"Moscow (AsiaNews) – A recently published book has generated a lot of buzz in Russia. Titled The Great Batu Khan, founder of Russian Statehood (Великий хан Батый – основатель Российской государственности), the tome is by Gennady A. Tjundeshev (Haramos), a historian at Khakassia State University (in Asian Russia, where Tatar-Mongols hail from). Its publication has revived the memory of the times of the "Tartar yoke", when Russia was under Asian rule for more than two centuries, between the 13th and the 15th centuries. It has also inspired some comparisons, especially with President Putin, who was re-elected on 18 March and has acquired the status of tsar and great leader. The great Batu Khan was the grandson of Genghis Khan, who, in 1240, imposed the dominion of the so-called "Golden Horde" on the principalities of ancient Kievan Rus, which disappeared from history as a separate entity. The Tatars were defeated for the first time in 1380 in the Battle of Kulikovo. Dmitry Donskoj, Prince of Moscow, led the way inspired by Sergius of Radonezh. Eventually, the city of Kyiv (Kiev) was against itself by the 17th century, but Asian domination ended only in 1480 thanks to the great prince Ivan III, father of the ideology of Moscow as the Third Rome. According to Tjundeshev’s interpretation, Russia has never freed itself from the legacy of the Tatar Khans; instead, it has made it the basis of its civilisation and state organisation. The idea is not particularly new. Napoleon, contemplating Moscow burning in 1812 from the walls of the Kremlin, uttered his famous words: “Scratch a Russian, you find a Tatar”. Many historians recognise the importance of the rule of the Golden Horde in the development of Russian society. The word money, dénʹgi (деньги), comes from Mongolian and survives in the memory of the taxes that Russians had to pay to the Khans to obtain formal diplomas, Jarliq (ярлык), which today means label, price tag, in modern Russian. Thus, today’s Russia is more the offspring of the Golden Horde than Kievan Rus. Tsar Ivan the Terrible, who conquered the last Kazan khanate in the 1500s, incorporated the main Mongolian leaders into the Russian administration. The tsar of "Holy Russia", to whom many today compare the reigning president (Ivan IV and Putin IV), dropped out of government for a whole year, putting one of his Mongol khans, Simeon Bekbulatovich, in his place. On 19 April, in an interview with Radio Svoboda, Tjundeshev reiterated his thesis. "The Golden Horde introduced the imperial spirit to Russia, and Batu Khan was the true founder of Russian statehood [. . .]. The mindset of Russians is mainly Asian. Even if the population is of European stock, only a small minority think within European parameters. This is why,” says the Tatar scholar, “it is so difficult for Russians to learn to be free; they always need a strong hand to rule them.” “In the Russian Duma everyone always votes as the president wants, like in the Kurultáj of Genghis Khan. The founder of the Mongol Empire at the beginning of the 13th century was in reality a very advanced man for his time, able to adapt to different situations and different cultures, including religions. From the Tatars come nations such as China, India, Turkey and Russia, which embrace different faiths like Confucianism, Islam and Orthodox Christianity.”" Putin heir to the Mongol Grand Khans

Well, I wouldn't call it fear, but rather reasonable precautions. If I have a neighbor pretending for some of my land, with a pack of mad dogs, then erecting a good fence between our yards isn't a bad idea.
