Breaking: Woman shot while trying to kill ICE agents in Minnesota

Geez, you are talking about a high speed chase....and NOT the circumstance of Rene Good.

And where is the regulation and training for cops shooting in to a moving car?

No, you missed the point, the car was stopped, and then the cops fired 15 times, not 3.

The car that hit the ICE agent was still moving, and he fired 3 shots, well inside the response arc of self defense, considering she hit him with her SUV.

She hit the agent with her SUV......

She hit the agent with her SUV.....

Do I need to repeat that?
.

It doesn't matter how many times you speak the truth. They think they have a superpower of not hearing it. :lalala:

.

That is correct....but the circumstances surrounding the shoot like a traffic stop vs an armed person shooting at you from the moving vehicle, or whether the driver was just trying to leave or get away vs actually with full car force trying to kill the officer in any reasonable officer's mind for the conditions at hand....

This is a law enforcement training agency used by LE and how they train on it...please read it, all the way through....

Was what Ross did to Rene Good, really reasonable?

Imo, absolutely NOT! It should be investigated to find out...

The courts already allow latitude for what the cop percieves to be a threat to their life or safety or the life and safety of others. They don't have to be mind readers. He saw her driving right at him. He didn't have to wait to see if perhaps, just maybe, she was kinda not trying to hit him.

He saw her driving at him after hearing her hit the gas.....he only drew his weapon at that point, and fired 3 quick shots as he was actually hit and slid off the SUV.

.

When a LE officer tells you four times to exit your vehicle, it's a safe bet that you are under arrest.

If you refuse to understand this, it's just you being disingenuous.

.

And it doesn't matter if she was or wasn't under arrest. Officers can order you out of your car. The Supreme Court has already ruled this as Constitutional due to concerns for officer safety. They don't even have to end up arresting you.

Did any cop state to her that she was being arrested, and the reason for the arrest? Not that I have seen, anywhere.

From a quick search...

To understand if a police officer can order you to get out of your car, consider the following points:

  1. Officers can order you out of your vehicle during a lawful traffic stop.
  2. This authority is based on officer safety and the need to investigate potential criminal activity.
  3. The Supreme Court has upheld this practice in cases like Pennsylvania v. Mimms.
  4. Passengers may also be ordered out for similar safety reasons.
  5. The order must be reasonable and related to the circumstances of the stop.
  6. Refusing to comply may lead to further legal consequences.

They had taken the first step by ordering her out of the car, the next step would be the announcement of arrest and handcuffs. As soon as they ordered her out of the car she was beg detained and she had no right to drive away.

Please link up and show me the law or regulation that you claim officers are trained to shoot the driver of a moving car.
IT has been linked in this tread several times, I am sorry you cant be bothered to keep up with the thread but chose to insert your ridiculous opinions in it anyway. I have even informed you before of this law and you just ignored it.

Do think the punishment for that should be summary execution?

What fascism? Immigration laws have been on the books for decades, even under obama, and have been enforced the exact same way...you shit heads didn't complain when obama did it, and only do it now because you want illegals to be able to vote.

Stopping a random person on the street to ask for ID, for no reason other than they look brown is straight up fascism, dragging people from their cars, chasing them down the street, throwing them into an unmarked vans is kidnapping and fascism. Swarming American cities with federal agents in order to conduct these illegal acts is fascism!

Obama removed migrants at the border, he wasn't spending billions to militarize a gestapo, in order to detain and grab people off the streets, go into their houses, set up detention facilities, etc. This fundamental difference is why there was few complaints from the left about his deportation policies compared to Trump.

If blacks still did not have civil rights, you might have a point. That said, park your vehicle in the middle of the road, blow your horn incessantly and see what happens.

No, the reason they didn't complain about obama is because he was a black democrat President.

As to asking people for ID?

The actual law...

ICE arresting people who have broken the law by entering the country illegally is not tyranny. Arresting people and simply sending them back home is not tyranny.

That you can't tell the difference shows that you are a moron.

Absolutely

Think of it this way. If that was your ten year old child in front of Ms. Good's car, would you have been in fear for her life?
But it wasn't a 10 year old, it was man who was trained to get out of the way and not shoot because the driver's dead weight foot could cause the car to speed and crash in to the 10 yr old standing by ...and her mother and a whole bunch of others too. Instead it crashed at high speed in to a parked car with no one in it....thank goodness.

His PTSD from the trauma of being dragged previously by a car he decided to hold on to that was escaping, was his own fault also....he did not follow his training and he put himself in danger....from what I have read....

Did he do this with malice? I don't think so....more lack of training or lack of leadership perhaps, but it should be investigated. A woman, is dead, for no good, solid, or clear reason...imo....but there could have been something I missed? It has to be legitimately investigated by the Civil Rights division....they all QUIT because of what this admin is doing and not doing....the trump cronies they'll get to replace them and be obedient, likely would not be considered as legitimate now....so who knows who would be legitimate, with all of the Doj crookedness going on..... It's awful, shameful, very un American imo.

And cop training says, let them leave...you've got their license plate and can come for them later....
