On the way home from Costco I heard a radio ad a company is hiring entry level positions, 19.25 a hour. I happen to know an individual that is in management in that company, they're working 6 days 12 hours because they can't get people in the door. A recent job fair netted then 18 applications.

What the Democrats are up to now is trying to convince us that we need more immigrants or prices will continue to increase on many products or services. Ronald Reagan was absolutely dead on when he said government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem.
A third of our population is now fully vaccinated. Get rid of lock downs where they exist, get rid of the federal extra unemployment money, put all of Trump's successful border policies back in place, and open all our schools so women can return back to work instead of watching their kids at home.

During the recession under DumBama, my neighbor took advantage of that. He stayed on unemployment for two years until the last day he could get it. Then he took a job working for his brother in law which was always available to him. He was getting close to 400 bucks a week from our state unemployment.

Assuming it's at least 400 today, with the added 300 a week from the feds, that brings a person up to $700.00 a week to stay home. That's over 36K a year, and when you consider taxes you don't have to pay like city, state and SS, it's comparable to over 40 K a year.

That boils down to over $19.00 an hour taxable income which a lot of working Americans don't make. So why go to work when you only make 30K a year when you can stay home for 40K?

Watching that announcement was sad. The poor man was losing his place on the teleprompter, mumbling, looking lost if he took his eyes off of the prompter for a second.

His message was garbled. First he says the employment numbers were somehow good. But, then he tells us we need to spend trillions more.
