Maybe. Or it means Russia will increase it's fixed wing aircraft footprint to suppress the new found Ukrainian airpower. You have to assume the Russian pilots will be more skilled with their airframes than the Ukrainians and that the Russians will just have more aircraft to throw at the problem. They got like a weeks worth of shells for them and while the article says they got planes there are none being delivered....Just parts to keep the ones they have in service or get them back into the air.

Any idiot can see what is going on here....The former eastern block countries unload their old equipment on Ukraine because they are already trained on it and it's back-filled by new NATO-type weapons.....Making the IMC (industrial military complex) very happy.

If you roll out planes, you roll out supply chain parts for those planes or they may not be operational within a week or if so, possibly under degraded mode. We are dead set the best in the world at supply chain logistics. Tactics win battles. Theater strategy is import, but logistics win wars. Hence, the saying "Amateurs study tactics. Professionals study logistics."

Not sure which one they are getting but if we have the 152mm it would be stupid to send them 155mm, so that all their shells matched up. A howitzer with the wrong shells is just a huge paperweight. The guns capabilities are essentially the same so it would be of no benefit to give them 155's.
