BREAKING Pentagon : " Ukraine receives Fighter Planes, parts to bolster Air Force ! "

The eastern block stuff is 152 mm. The arty being supplied is 155 mm common to NATO. The article said planes and parts. If you roll out planes, you roll out supply chain parts for those planes or they may not be operational within a week or if so, possibly under degraded mode. We are dead set the best in the world at supply chain logistics. Tactics win battles. Theater strategy is import, but logistics win wars. Hence, the saying "Amateurs study tactics. Professionals study logistics."
It is a good move and about time it happened.

Moscow is in one step from The Crimean war 0:2

This is not at all a smart ass question here. I have to preface my question with that because I am a smart ass.

What do you want to see as a resolution to this war, and then what do you think will actually happen when the dust clears?

Don't worry - if Russia let's the ICBMs fly, you'll never know it.

Do you believe everything you read?.....That article was a fuckin' soup sandwich....

And no, the arty the Ukraine is getting is former eastern block and is what it's being back-filled with is NATO standard.
I was speaking to that particular article and what it said. Now I will have to look for different articles from different source to confirm what it or you say.
I just did a check of headlines during last 24 hours, finding variety, some saying supplying aircraft, others saying they have only "received" parts. Several saying they were supplied US artillery, though small in quantity, but that would be 155 mm as we do not have 152 in the US inventory. It may take another day or two to find out what change has really been made. One thing for sure, if supplying 155 mm arty, they are supplying 155 mm ammo.
At one time their was talk of supplying aircraft from some Eastern European countries and replacing them with US fighters. If that is the case, the supply chain of parts to maintain those older Soviet design planes would go with them as basically useless to the country sending the planes, for use on more modern US aircraft.
Yes, I know we are not getting complete and truthful reporting from either side, but only time will tell this one.

Personnaly, I think they are only one step from WWIII. Crimean War 2.0 probably began the day Putin sent them into Ukraine (again).

What is with all the inane one-liners? Has anyone taken a breath and stepped back to consider long-term implications?

Loved that preface.
I would like to see Russia pushed back to January 1, 2022 borders, completely withdrawing from every place in the region, they have made new incursion into, this year. I would like to see a peace treaty and Russia should be paying reparations. There should be no Russian profit in territory or political control, period. I don't know how it will shake out and not for me to say what is or will be acceptable, from my safe secure home in Tennessee. The days of me writing parts, sitting in, or briefing parts of the morning brief on 4-way split screen TV from a Corp HQ are long, long gone.

BREAKING : Pentagon . " Ukraine receives fighter planes, parts to bolster air force"

Finally!! the takeaway here should be, stop worrying about what pOOtin thinks, start making pOOtin worry about what WE think.
SO OUR strategy IS: USA sent in artillery and anti tanks while other nations provided anti air and also jets… now that’s done… the golden horde literally can’t fly around in helicopters without being shot out of the sky and artillery will be safe to fire on troops and tanks… the golden horde is now facing a foe 100 times stronger then in the beginning… some might say its a brand new war
with other words : Moscow , this what WAITS for YOU !

The cult doesnt understand how much of a bargaining chipmit is to have the bomb.

If Poot didnt have the bomb, this all never would have happened.

I am amazed he hasnt dropped a very small nuke in an unpopulated area of Ukraine to flex.

Hopefully because he knows more than you. The US has a predefined order as to what takes place with any kind of nuclear tactic and that includes even something which causes no harm to anyone. Russia starts showing off any sort of nuclear tactic and we are pretty much in nuclear annihilation. We have lost the respect people used to have for nukes. That kept us safe. We live in a very dangerous world now but it would appear it is just fun to most of the people now around and political.
