BREAKING: Jack Smith drops election subversion case against Trum

He either committed crimes that deserve prosecution or he didn’t. This sends a terrible signal about how the rule of law operates in the United States.

It isn’t up for a vote—and you shouldn’t escape consequences by winning an election
Keeping him from winning an election was the point of the prosecution. It didn't work, so why beat a dead horse?

Will he write it himself or will it be like Robert Mueller, who knew absolutely nothing about the report that he signed?

The answer, of course, is neither. Smith will not write a report of any length or any substance. The last thing that dude wants is to be called in front of Congress and the Senate to be given the Mueller treatment.
Best case scenario for the country is Smith writes a report, submits it to Garland, who then releases it to the public. For obvious reasons trump will try to prevent that from happening.

Repubs in Congress won't be calling Smith to testify about his investigation. At least not in public. His testimony and his report are not anything trump wants in the public domain. What he wants is for the House Crazies to find something to discredit Smith with. Kinda like what you've done to Mueller. Try to diminish him in some way in order to cast doubt on his work product.

This isn't complicated stuff. It's predictable cuz it follows a pattern. It's sad you folks can't figure it out.

Goes away after Trump pardons Himself.

The Republicans will hold hearings regarding Smith's (and others) about the Trump trials. And the reasons why Smith was doing what he did.

The case had merit. Trump appealed every step delaying the process.
Absolutely true. Garland's timid approach, not wanting to appear to be political and in so doing failing to do his job, is an enormous black mark on what will otherwise be a noble legacy.

"Not wanting to appear political..."?

It was all mostly political. Name one other reason why it wwasn't.

The reason for doing what he did can be found in the indictments of trump. The indictments THREE grand juries voted for.

trump committed crimes according to the evidence and the THREE grand juries Smith enjoined.

Btw, those juries were Democrats...in case you didn't know that.

No, that isn't even true! They had to crop up something to pin anything on Trump. The Democrats knew that Jack Smith would do their "dirty laundry".

As you know, that's a lie. I can see you aren't capable of doing anything but repeating debunked talking points so I'm done with you now.
