All military action since WWII has been illegal.Who judged the invasion of Iraq to be illegal? The UN? What’s their authority over the US? What’s their enforcement authority?
The legality of illegality is merely an opinion.
The judgment of whether THAT has been the case, is the law of the land, you know, the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?
The founders felt that WAR was a serious enough topic, to address it specifically.
This way? If constituents did not like their representatives stand on whether they took the nation into war, we could hold them accountable.
