Breaking Bombshell: Obama Released ISIS Leader From Prison In 2009

Well doggies, why did Bush let him stay there?

LOL, BUSHES FAULT!

roflmao, you stupid fucktards have been blaming Bush for the last SIX YEARS!

You fucking crybabies need to grow up and accept respons....oh fuck, what the hell am I saying to a ignorant fucking libtard?

its Bushes fault Obama honored an agreement Bush made and signed ?

yes, what the fuck are you saying ? One President upheld the word of another President ?

:cuckoo:

The agreement we signed with Iraq allowed us to keep prisoners that we considered a threat to our national security as well as the ones they considered a threat, dude.

So Obama did not consider this terrorist a threat, apparently.

But no matter what, you libtards will still blame Bush reflexively.

Now back to the OP.

America released the Ghost. Obama owns this invasion.
Never had the "ghost" to release. The Right owns this lie.

The US had the right to withdraw any prisoners still held in Iraq as the Obama regime 'wrestled with' in this case:
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/17/w...s-last-prisoner-to-iraqi-government.html?_r=0

On Friday, the military notified the families of the five soldiers that Mr. Daqduq was being transferred to the Iraqi police. Tommy Vietor, a spokesman for the White House’s National Security Council, confirmed the transfer.

“We have sought and received assurances that he will be tried,” Mr. Vietor said. “We’ve worked this at the highest levels of the U.S. and Iraqi government, and we’ll continue to discuss with the Iraqis the best way to ensure that he faces justice.”

The administration had wrestled with the decision on whether to turn Mr. Daqduq over to the custody of the Iraqi government — as the United States had done with all its other wartime prisoners — or to take him with the military as it withdraws. Republicans had called for Mr. Daqduq to be sent to the prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, to face trial on charges of war crimes before a military commission.

The decision was complicated by the need to secure the Iraqi government’s permission to take any prisoners out of the country under the status-of-forces agreement signed by the Bush administration in late 2008. That accord set December 2011 as the deadline for United States troops to exit.

From that link:

The Obama administration said that the government of Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki had declined to allow the United States to take Mr. Daqduq, saying that under Iraqi law he could not be transferred at this time and had to be placed in Iraqi custody. President Obama raised the issue again when Mr. Maliki visited the White House this week, an official said. Some conservatives had argued for simply putting Mr. Daqduq on a plane and taking him out of the country without Iraqi permission. But administration officials said that such a move would have violated Iraqi sovereignty at the moment of the war’s end, and dealt a severe blow to efforts to establish good relations with the new Iraq....

Is someone who sports an upside-down American flag telling us how to make America better?

Not the "ghost."
Try again.

In case some of you failed to find out the 'real' details behind the release of Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi instead of listening to Fox News' interpretation, or should I say misinterpretation, he was released into the hands of Ken King, the commander of Camp Bucca, where Al-Baghadadi was imprisoned. Ken King escorted and transferred custody of the infamous prisoner to the Iraqi government. THE IRAQI GOVERNMENT DECIDED TO RELEASE AL-BAGHDADI.....NOT OBAMA. Was that clear enough for the Repugs or should I print it in larger letters?

You let him go in 2009. You cannot negate this. You have not ever been able to negate this.

Radicalized during his stay at the Iraq Detention facilities. Good Job President Bush. How many more terrorist did the Bush administration create by invading an oil rich Arab nation that did not attack us on 9-11, or pose any type of immediate threat to the worlds remaining superpower?

Al Qaeda Facilitator Likely Dead in Coalition Air Strike

American Forces Press Service
WASHINGTON, Oct. 26, 2005 – A coalition air strike that hit a terrorist safe house today in Ushsh, Iraq, likely killed a senior al Qaeda member who assisted foreign fighters in Iraq, U.S. officials in Baghdad announced.
Intelligence sources indicate that Abu Dua, who helped Syrians and Saudis enter Iraq to intimidate and kill Iraqi citizens, was in the house at the time of the strike. Dua was linked to other al Qaeda terrorists and facilitators in the Qaim, Karabilah and Husaybah areas. He also was a known close associate of Ghassan Amin, an al Qaeda member known as the "emir of Rawah." Amin was captured in May.
According to intelligence sources, Dua was connected to the intimidation, torture and murder of local civilians in the Qaim area. Dua held religious courts to try local citizens charged with supporting the Iraqi government and coalition forces. He would kidnap individuals or entire families, accuse them, pronounce sentence and then publicly execute them, U.S. officials said.
Dua's al Qaeda connections extended to Syria and Saudi Arabia, from where most of his foreign fighters were recruited. He set up and ran a system that funneled foreign fighters from Syria into the Qaim area. These fighters were then sent to local terrorist cells, where they attacked innocent Iraqi citizens and Iraqi security and coalition forces.

If he's dead Ed why does he have a bounty on his head Ed?

Because they are different people. The Baghdadi with the bounty is not the Baghdadi who was killed or the Baghdadt who was released. One need only look at the photo of the Baghdadi that was released and the Baghdadi with the bounty to see they are not the same person.

Well what do you know, the Baghdadi that was released was released in 2004, not 2009, according to DOD records.

http://www.politifact.com/punditfac...o/foxs-pirro-obama-set-isis-leader-free-2009/

However, when PunditFact asked the Defense Department to confirm the story, officials there said Baghdadi was released in 2004, not 2009.

"Ibrahim Awad Ibrahim Al Badry, also known as ‘Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’ was held as a ‘civilian internee’ by U.S. Forces-Iraq from early February 2004 until early December 2004, when he was released," the Pentagon said in a statement. "He was held at Camp Bucca. A Combined Review and Release Board recommended ‘unconditional release’ of this detainee and he was released from U.S. custody shortly thereafter. We have no record of him being held at any other time."

In short, according to the Defense Department, the man who heads ISIS was released in 2004, long before Obama took office, and was not recaptured.

I blew the shit out of this in another thread. There is no official statement from the Defense Department. For all we know they talked to a janitor.

Neither Slate, nor NBC. nor Daily Beast, nor Daily Mail UK and most importantly nor the BBC has retracted their stories that he was released in 2009.

Get back to me when any one of those media outlets retract their stories or when Punditfact (come on now ) gives us the name of the individual that they talked to at the Defense Department.

Oh and Ed. Please note one other thing.

They come to their conclusion that the story is false correct?

Well if so, why did they go on the rant that "well if the story is true that he was released in 2009 it would still be Bush's fault".

Don't you find that a tad odd? I sure as hell do.

:D

When was he captured in the first place? And why was he captured when it's so easy and convenient for the US to massacre tens of thousands of civilians?

Why did Bush keep him alive? Why did Bush lie to invade Iraq and set all of this shit in motion?
