If the President’s auto pen was used by a staffer of any level, then how can it ever be said that the demented ex-President was even aware of it?

I believe that this raises an even larger question, once again.

How can anybody know whether or not he had any involvement in other uses of his auto pen?

As has been asked many times here by other members of this Board (like Crusader Frank or Oddball), who was actually running our Executive Branch? Also, what effect does it have on the legitimacy of any legislation that he purportedly “signed?”

I'm thinking there should be a chain of evidence just like in criminal investigations. If that chain is broken then there is no chain of evidence linking a pardon or an EO to Biden actually giving permission to have the autopen sign his signature and that evidence shouldn't just be Biden saying at a later date, 'Oh yeah, I gave permission to use the autpen for that".
