No, not really. Read what I posted. All modern voting machines are junk. Yes, many now print out a paper receipt, but only the voters themselves know who they intended to vote for. In fact the vast majority never even look at their receipt (even if legible which is another common issue). One can always sample and hope, but unless you ask each voter to check that their printout matches their intent you cannot know whether or not shenanigans are taking place. But then again they could just lie. Thus "100% unverifiable." It's well known that the print routine itself is a separate procedure occurring after the vote is recorded by the machine. Hackers have shown that that process can be programmed to do whatever the responsible election officials or company programmers / maintenance personnel wish. They're all overpriced, highly corruptible junk. That's all I'm saying. We should have trashed them decades ago and never looked back. Hand marked, hand counted, paper ballots. Period.
