If a witness thinks they need a lawyer, they can have one present during questioning.

If the lawyer rule extended to congress, Ms Hutchinson couldn't even talk to her own congressperson for constituent services, without the congressperson making her call her lawyer first.

The Jan. 6 Committee was a trial proceeding. It was to determine the events of that day. It was NOT a criminal proceeding. Miranda would not apply. The presence of an attorney was NOT required. Ms. Hutchinson testified on what she heard and saw that day. Thank you for playing grasping at straws.
