Boehner lashes out at conservatives

There's a tidal wave coming. And not just against the Dems. The anti incumbent feeling now is stronger than in 2010. People are plain fed up and will vote the rascals out. The Dems will initially glory in seeing McConnell etc defeated. Only to gripe when the TP candidates oust Dems.

they are correct about doing everything in the taxpayer's power to right-size gov't but big biz (defense contractors, Big Agri, Big Pharma, insurance, Wall St, etc...) has captured all the incumbents in their grips through campaign contributions and promises of future employment. Thing is, some of the teapartiers candidates actually repel people

So, are you for either REAL campaign finance reform or STRICT public financing of campaigns to kill the cancer? :eusa_whistle:

Here is the response I mailed to Mr. Speaker of the House..

Mr. Speaker...

I understand that you are tired of those of us who voted for many of those in the House and Senate who are more Conservative than you are and are tired of the political games that being played with our lives and the future of this country.

I understand that you want us to "get along" with the Democrats who have been attempting to socialize this country and have been all about transforming it from the principles under which it was founded to something more along what Marx or Lenin would have wanted to see.

I understand that you no longer want to deal with us.

I am not going to go into the rant that you are assuming that I am going to go into.. I have some simple questions to ask you.

When did the Democrats work with us?

1 -Affordable Healthcare Act .... Do you remember how that got passed and the willingness of the Democrats to compromise with Republicans? I remember bribes, I remember kickbacks, I remember exemptions, I remember bills being gutted by the Senate after passing the House then replaced with the ACA and passed under rules that didn't apply. I remember Democrats locking Republicans out of meetings. I don't remember any compromises by the Democrats.

2 - Illegal immigration. When was the last time the Democrats have done anything to actually secure our borders? They want amnesty, but they won't secure the borders. Remember Pelosi's first year as Speaker when she defunded the border fence?
Where has the Democrats worked with Republicans on immigration besides demanding they get their way?

3 - Securing the Voting Booth - Have the Democrats ever done anything to secure the voting booth to ensure only Citizens who can legally vote cast ballot? I can't think of a single bill they voted for that would do that.

4 - Exactly how many Democrats have been trying to take away our 2nd Amendment Rights for the past 30 years?

You are willing to turn on the people who have voted in people to represent them that also voted to make you Speaker of the House in order to work with Democrats who have not worked with the Republican party on any bill of importance to Republicans. You are calling them "Crazy".

Have you succumbed to the pressure by the Media? Do you honestly think ABC, NBC, CBS, or CNN are unbiased in their representations of the members of the Tea Party? Remember the Left is so scared of them that they sent the IRS after them. It is not unreasonable to say that thanks to the efforts of the IRS in preventing so many groups from forming, that gave Obama his 2nd term.

Mr. Speaker. You really should start enjoying that title for now. Or did you prefer being called "The House Minority Leader" more. You may get your chance to be the "House Minority Leader" again in 2015 after all the "Crazy" Tea Party people in America stayed home and didn't vote and the House reverts back to Democrat control.

How would you like that? All three branches under control of the Democrats for Obama's last 2 years in office.

You should have learned, in that bar you worked in, that you dance with the people who brought you to the dance instead.

The sooner the US rids itself of the Tea Party, the better we'll be.

Those on the left are just so tolerant of views not their own.

Perhaps that is why they love Lenin and Marx so much.

The same is true of the right. I mean, if we're going to speak in generalities, may as well apply it across the board.

I don't see a whole lot of neocon TPM members trying to reach across the aisle.

I stopped reaching across the aisle when I started drawing back a nub.

No. I am for MORE money in campaigns. Campaign financing laws like McCain/Feingold are unconstitutional. More money gives challengers a chance over incumbents. But I want it all disclosed and available.

No, he lashed out at far right reactionaries.

The Speaker and Ryan are done with the far right's nonsense.

Jake, you are so right! There is nothing wrong with being conservative. I am conservative on many things. He is lashing out at those who have gone completely gone over the edge and made "compromise" a bad word.

And yes, the Tea Party and its external conservative groups are huge contributors to this very damaging movement. The TP had some noble goals in its early days, but they have lost their way.

So Steph, you are still towing the line huh? That is sad. How about you step out there with the House Leader and say what is really happening. The ultra-conservatives, the TP, and many of these outside groups are trying to rule without being elected.

Go ahead...say it. It won't hurt.

You are very wrong. The tidal wave is coming in the different direct. Karl Rove and his money backers are going to fight the TP extremist that will be thrown into the primaries.

AND THE DEMS WILL WIN IN THE FINAL BATTLE!

How about you worry about the Democrat party ( the party you NEVER put down) being taken over by Socialist/Communist?
I guess you don't because you are one?
but you do seem to get a thrill when Republicans step all over the people in their party, that you on the left have Judged to be "Undesirable people".. so they need to be, gotten RID OF...that's what sad about you libs/Democrats

We need Term Limits folks...We the People need to start Demanding them

these Entrenched "CAREER" politicians from the both Parties are not looking out for OUR BEST INTEREST...They are looking out for themselves and their jobs

we can't rely on the citizens anymore...they are more concerned with American Idol to care about these Snakes in the Federal Government

If we don't they are going to continue Rolling all over us like they did with OScamCare

We the People do indeed need to start IMPOSING term limits by throwing the bums out and electing different candidates instead, even if they aren't from our own preferred party, and doing it over and over again, until they all get the message.

FYI We the People also need to do a much better job in finding alternative candidates that are actual adults and ready for prime time.

The TP candidates are only a serious threat to Republicans at present because the TP is clustered on the extreme right.
