Birthright Citizenship? Yes/No

Children of foreign diplomats do not qualify, as far as I am aware. I believe Native American tribal members are basically born with dual citizenship. Neither of these are considered illegal aliens.

The pertinent word here would be LEGALLY. Native Americans were here LEGALLY, Former Slaves were here LEGALLY. They broke no laws. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS are NOT here LEGALLY. They broke the law and should not benefit from their ILLEGAL actions. The 14th was not put in place to address a foreign invasion of people attempting to circumvent our immigration policies. This isn't rocket science and the people who are trying to twist the 14th into something it was never intended to be are totally off base.

Edit to add: If Trump's legal team does not present this line of argument, they will deserve the loss that the SCOTUS will leave them with.

I wouldn't count on or expect this SCOTUS to make such a realization on their own!

I just have my normal, conservative, ingrained, unconditional belief in the Constitution, and that includes the 14th Amendment.
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

We settled this back in 1867, as part of the supreme law of the land.
They didn't anticipate a treasonous POTUS (Biden) who invited illegal aliens to falsely claim asylum and refused to guard our border. The birth right law was for LEGAL immigrants coming in through legal check points.

To disregard the reason that the 14th was enacted is as disingenuous as saying Biden did not commit a treasonous act when he told the world to surge our borders--in effect calling for a foreign invasion. That is treason.

I was posting about Biden's neglect of constitutional duty. Which is an impeachable offense. Also, since failure to secure the border was done in a way that privileges illegals over citizens and privileges Democrats. Biden systematically refused to act which is also an impeachable offense.

You can't legally deport a US citizen, but generally speaking the parents decide where their minor children will live.
So you support breaking up illegal alien families ?
