The whole concept of defunding the police is a stupid fucking idea.Once again Maher knows the line and is careful not over overstep. Support for abolish the police didn't come out of nowhere and 18-35 year olds didn't come to support communism on their own.

Because they want folks still thinking in terms of the last centuries political/socioeconomic ideologies. As long as they can do this, the global elites plans to transform the globe into a dirgismistic fascistic police state can go on unabated.
The socialists will believe the elites are implementing socialism, the capitalists will believe the elites are protecting capitalism, when what they are really doing is creating a completely new system owned by the elites, and run by AI and robots, creating, in essence, and brand new feudalistic society. . . a dystopia that has more likeness to something out of Logan's Run or Blade Runner, than anything resembling the old 20th century ideologies.
Maher is critiquing ideas of the 80's, with counter ideas of the 80's. It is all distraction and cover for what the global elites are doing as we speak.
Both Greenwald and Wolf have been blackballed by the establishment for reaching across the aisle, and actually criticizing those in power, both in government and in industry in a meaningful way. Maher calls those who do that, "conspiracy theorists," like the good corporate shill that he is.
When they fire his ass? When he censors what he writes for fear of not making a living, or is pushed to marginal platforms? Then you can trust him.
