What did you think impeached means?

Did you miss his confession?
Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body formally levels charges against a high official of government. Impeachment does not necessarily mean removal from office; it is only a formal statement of charges, akin to an indictment in criminal law, and is thus only the first step towards removal. Once an individual is impeached, he or she must then face the possibility of conviction via legislative vote, which then entails the removal of the individual from office.

Yes, of perjury.
Was he found guilty?
The impeachment process of Bill Clinton was initiated by the House of Representatives on December 19, 1998, against Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice. These charges stemmed from Clinton's extramarital affair with former White House Intern Monica Lewinsky and his testimony about the affair during a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against him by Paula Jones. Clinton was subsequently acquitted of these charges by the Senate on February 12, 1999. Two other impeachment articles – a second perjury charge and a charge of abuse of power – failed in the House.

yet he finished out his term...
because he was acquitted, found not guilty, in his impeachment trial in the Senate

the House impeachment is simply being ''charged'' with wrong doings, but then the Senate, with Supreme Court Chief Justice as the presiding Judge, TRIES the impeached president on the House 'charges' and each Senator counts as the Jury, and votes on whether the President is guilty or not guilty and President Clinton was found not guilty on the impeachment charges.

If trump were impeached for let us say ...cheating ......by working with a foreign adversary to win the election....then he should be replaced by who we voted for that came in as runner up....Hillary Clinton....the person who was cheated by him....Pence would not be a legitimate replacement because he was on the same cheating ticket as the president being impeached.

It should not be the VP, who won through the CHEATING....the whole cheating ticket should be expelled....

That would be the right and just thing to do....

But, it will probably end up being Ryan....
