It’s funny that some of the “more important” conservatives are concerned about the Big Orange Head’s mental stability.
He is no different as President of the United States than he was as a casino owner, real estate mogul, or reality show star. He is a classless bullsh!t artist and con man. He’s insulted, bullied, cheated, and lied to people his entire life. This is why he is a bigger embarrassment than Dubya, he was just incompetent.
Big Orange’s mental state is unchanged. His boorish behavior only makes him scary because he’s taken his bullying tactics world-wide, and now has a major military force at his disposal.
But with that aside, the only true reason the Republican establishment is not thrilled with the Big Orange Head as president are the decades of work he stole from them. Those decades the GOP invested nurturing the belief in their rank-and-file Republican voters that their right wing racial hatred, religious intolerance, xenophobia, homophobia, misogyny, distrust of the press, and most recently islamophobia represent the most noble strengths of conservatism.
The Big Orange Head used his ability as a con man to fashion campaign rhetoric, and took advantage of the many, many years of work the GOP spent instilling these specific beliefs in the conservatives’ simple, but pliable minds.
But Big Orange lacked subtlety. During his campaign rallies, he encouraged his supporters attending the events to draw inspiration from their noble strengths of conservatism, and commit violent acts against other audience members showing opposition to his hateful agenda.
The conservatives’ violence disgusted the majority of voters, causing Big Orange to lose the popular vote. This showed the Republican establishment they were too late to benefit from the years spent indoctrinating their voting base with the noble strengths of conservatism.
Because these violent acts inspired by the noble strengths of conservatism are now commonplace. Conservatives’ racist rants are often caught on video and posted to the Internet. Or, incidents like that in Portland, Oregon, where an islamophobic rant against two women turned deadly. Two men died after having their throats cut when they tried to defend two Muslim women being verbally assaulted. This again proves to the Republican establishment their efforts of indoctrination were wasted.
The Republican establishment hoped the Big Orange Head’s violent influence wouldn’t involve any of their other candidates. But that didn’t work out, Montana Republican Greg Gianforte, inspired by the noble strengths of conservatism, believed he was justified in attacking a journalist. He now he faces assault charges.
While the establishment Republicans are pleased Gianforte won the election, they know the noble strengths of conservatism will soon be outweighed by the disgust and anger the majority of Americans feel for the violence these noble strengths foster.
Looking at the overall picture, the important conservatives must come to realize, their concern over the Big Orange Head’s mental state should be the least of their worries. He has not changed in decades. However, their next big problem is to convince their conservative voter base, which is becoming more and more prone to violence, to calm down and get their paranoia under control. The rest of the nation is getting sick of their malignance and this is going to cost the GOP dearly in future elections.
