President Joe Biden will travel to Buffalo, New York on Tuesday to honor 10 victims who were murdered during a routine grocery store visit on Saturday. The perpetrator, who is a white teenager with previous encounters with police, specifically looked up a black neighborhood to target. He professed a number of bigoted and racist views in a manifesto posted online.
But when a black supremacist barreled through a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin late last year, killing six and injuring more than 60 people, Biden failed to visit. In fact, he hardly commented on the horror.
During Monday's daily briefing, newly minted White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about why President Biden didn't visit Waukesha. She deflected and claimed Biden has visited "many communities."
Psaki said on November 29, 2021
"Any President going to visit a community requires a lot of assets, requires taking their resources, and it's not something that I have a trip previewed at this plan, point in time, but we remain in touch with local officials,".

'Last year when Darrell Brooks murdered six innocent people and injured over 60 during the Waukesha Christmas parade, the White House claimed President Biden couldn't go to Waukesha because it would require too many 'assets' and 'resources.' But within hours of the most recent senseless tragedy, the White House apparently found the resources to plan a presidential trip to Buffalo,' he said in a statement.
Jean-Pierre on Monday also refused to call out by name any public figures who pushed fringe theories like the alleged shooter did.

This exactly. There are—or were—a growing number of law abiding Americans who were building their own firearms for the simple reason of avoiding their names going forever on various state and federal gun registry lists, such as NFA related unconstitutional taxation on the Second Amendment. Now, or rather in a few months, one will no longer be able to build their own firearms without submitting to government background checks. That is Biden's first major gun control step. Next up? Outright specific firearm bans, firearm buyback programs, expanded gun free zones. In other words, Biden will make America much more dangerous for the average American who might have purchased or built firearms for self-defense but who will now no longer be able to that or be made to feel owning firearms isn't worth the political persecution. Many, many innocent, law abiding Americans will die by the hands of savage, illegally armed criminals. The democrats will rejoice.
