If the cost of ingredients (oil) is driven up (thank a democrat) then the price of oil product rises accordingly. If people still buy at the higher price (everything runs on energy) then it stands to reason that profits would increase. Duh.

If you don't believe that then maybe you will believe it is all the fault of policies under the Trump administration. If you don't believe that then maybe you will believe it is all the fault of the Supreme Court. Just remember, the side who says Trump never took responsibility for anything says gas prices aren't their fault so it must be someone else's fault.
