We're now exporting more gasoline and diesel than ever because Europe's refineries don;'t have the volume of crude coming in to keep up with their demands.

When you pinch the supply in the face of rising demand you always get dramatic spikes in prices.

These are not going to be short term spikes either unless the Euro's cave on the sanctions.

A good president would come out and tell it straight to the people and explain they why instead of blaming on "Putin and Big Oil".
