Biden is suppose to be so "green", so why use oil from the worse CO2 producing countries?

Biden's campaign promise...
*Biden: “Look at my eyes, I guarantee, I guarantee… You We’re Going To END FOSSIL FUEL”

Ultimately we will. You have to start somewhere. The stone age didn't end because they ran out of stones.

Presidents don't run oil companies.

No he doesn't actually sit at the head of the board directly deciding what a oil company does. But you're just arguing semantics in order to be a contrarian.

But he does control how or if they operate. I showed multiple links below illustrating that.

So you're wrong. But you knew that, you're worried about arguing and not interested in truth, reality or facts.

When he was running for president he made a vow to go to war with fossil fuels. If he can't control oil companies then how exactly can he do that?

The reality is he can and did because he can indirectly control oil companies.

Ultimately we will. You have to start somewhere. The stone age didn't end because they ran out of stones.

It also didn't end in a couple years or even 100 years. It took a very very very long time.

You're comparison doesn't hold any water upon closer inspection.

Biden wants oil from these countries:
But Biden has DISCOURAGED USA oil exploration and production by doing this in January 27,2021
  • Biden’s orders direct the secretary of the Interior Department to halt new oil and natural gas leases on public lands and waters, and begin a thorough review of existing permits for fossil fuel development.
  • The series of actions kick off the president’s agenda to reduce the country’s emissions and establish stricter targets under the Paris climate accord.
As a result, oil producers shut down their efforts to find NEW oil on the lands that produce The federal share of total U.S. crude oil production fell from its peak at nearly 36% in 2009 to less than 24% in 2017. Obama's fault now Biden's !

So now this truly ignorant president WANTS oil from the worst CO2 emitters? Venezuela? Iran?
HEY Dummy President!

Remove your blockage of domestic oil exploration and watch the price drop as the USA once again becomes as we did in 2019... ENERGY Independent and I'm not saying it!
In November 2019, the United States became a net exporter of all oil products, including both refined petroleum products and crude oil.[5] By 2021 the US was the world's largest producer.

The Saudis greatly overestimated their oil fields. In the past 30 years they pumped out 90 trillion barrels of oil from their fields. Now they are more than half completed. That's why they curtail production to raise prices artificially to squeeze all the money they can out of the remaining oil they have because they know when that's gone they don't have much going for them. The world was supposed to run out of oil in 2043, it's now been updated to 2038. No one wants to be using oil in the 2030s it'll be far too expensive to keep using it as we are today. It'll probably be at least $25 a gallon, if not more.

Actually his comparison is a good one. At the rate we're using oil it will be all gone long before 2050.

I agree with your comments as you also support them with links! Biden's latest war on oil was raising the rates
for oil leases which The Interior Department on Friday said the new leasing would come with a royalty rate of 18.75 percent, up from the previous 12.5 rate that critics complained was far lower than what energy companies pay to drill on most state lands.

This over 50% increase in lease rates are simply passed on to the consumers.... i.e.
1) oil exploration pays 50% more, passes increase on to refineries.
2) Refineries pass on the increase the exploration companies charge, PLUS their additional costs to stations.
3) Guess what... that cost is increased to US! Hence so far an over 93% increase from 1/21/21!

Hey tumphumper dummy! We get oil from those who have it, and spread the purchases for obvious reasons.

Maybe because U.S. oil companies are sitting on leases, raking in profits from high oil prices.

Note that same month Trump demanded a cut in world wide oil production. Now of course the Neo-GOP call it Saul Biden who didit.

Link in previous post.

Normally, the best cure for high prices is high prices, which incentivize more supply. And yet, even though US oil prices have surged by more than 65% this year, US oil production is about 14% below the levels of the end of 2019, before Covid erupted.
"Stop spending like drunk sailors. That's the message from shareholders," said Pavel Molchanov, an analyst at Raymond James.

That message was heard loud and clear. Despite higher prices, 50 of the largest oil companies have increased their annual budgets by just 1% relative to their initial plans, according to Raymond James. Instead of plowing money into expensive drilling projects, the oil-and-gas industry is focused on returning cash to shareholders.
"It's not the government that is banning them from drilling more. It's pressure from their shareholders," said Molchanov.

For the same reasons the filthy confused fucks insist on importing millions of mass polluting wetbacks….the ignorant fucks can’t get out of their own way…EVER!
Literally everything they bitch about is manifested by them. It’s Twilight Zone shit.

Because its cheaper.

Not sure where you got your numbers that show running out by 2038 because the attached shows a 51 year world supply or
from 2016 below data plus 51 years is 2067 when oil runs out.

Stupid. Being green doesn’t mean it drives every decision. Winning a war with Russia is more important than pollution in the short term. Moronic article from March.
Not according to John 666 New World Order Kerry. He said he hoped Russia did not pollute and left a small LOL Carbon Footprint in their little war Biden told them they could start.

Because its cheaper.

Yes, it's cheaper, cuz it's less valuable and the costs to produce it is lower then here in the US. Anybody here think the Venezuelans are as conscious of the environmental hazards as we are? Highly doubtful. And of course cheaper labor too, when we buy their oil we are in effect subsidizing 'slave wages' there. I'm pretty sure workers in the petroleum industry make pretty damn good money. and then there's this:

There are three reasons that high-sulfur (Venezuelan) crude oil is lower quality — therefore less expensive — than low-sulfur crude oils. The first reason is that high-sulfur crude oils produce greater emissions, particularly those emissions that are toxic and have a high global warming potential. The sulfur in sour crude reacts to different components in the air to produce toxic emissions like sulfuric acid and nitric oxide.

[I thought you guys didn't like greater emissions]

The second reason that high-sulfur crude oil is lower in quality is that high-sulfur oils cause oxidation and corrosion. Because of its high oxidation and corrosion qualities, refining high-sulfur crude oil is expensive. If a refinery is not properly fitted to support high-sulfur crude oil — and well maintained on a regular basis, — the oxidation and corrosion damage generated will exceed profits.

The third reason high-sulfur crude oil is less valuable is because the higher the sulfur count, the lower the hydrocarbon count — hydrocarbons being the component in petroleum that combusts and generates energy. “Carbon and hydrogen make up around 98 percent of the content of a typical crude oil type. The rest is made up of sulfur (1-3 percent), nitrogen, oxygen, metal and salts (less than 1 percent each).”

While a difference of only three percent may not sound high, the effect a three percent difference has on the price of a barrel of fuel is significant. “Each additional one percentage point of sulfur lowers the price US$0.056 per dollar of Brent [crude oil].” The reason being, the more sulfur a crude oil contains, the fewer hydrocarbons it contains on a volume scale.

The more sulfur crude oil contains, the less energy it produces per gallon, barrel, or liter.

This isn't the stone age with a small population. A dangerous game with 8 billion people. And using the people in your country as suckers for energy experiments. Fossil fuels work. The green will come but the Progs want to take credit and force it down our throats quicker. Crazy enviro terrorists, antifa terrorists, BLM terrorists and others push violence to get their way with the blessings of the political class, corporate class, elites, extreme feminists, broadcasters of all ways including entertainment and others out for themselves. And most of them will not be seen except for pure survival in a nation a lot more poor.

I think Zaki Yamani knows more than you and he's a family friend.

Canadian crude is also heavy and sour. Saudi Arabia has light sweet and so does Libya. What's your experience in the oil fields?

NOTE: on 4/1/20 under Trump.. National average gallon of gas... $1.938.
Today 03/16/22 under Biden..... National average gallon of gas... $4.302
Increase in gallon of gas: $2.364 or 121.96% more than 4/1/20.
This means that in 2022 American drivers using 369 million gallons per day.
Using the same figure of $1.938 for gas in 2020 Americans spent $715 million for gas per day.
Using the figure of $2.364 INCREASE for gas in 2022, or $872 million MORE per day for gas!

In one day $872 million MORE in 2022 than just 2 years ago that Americans have to spend for GAS!
AND why? One major reason was the following.
Of the 9,000 supposedly leases on Federal lands...less than 1,500 are valid... zip... goes Psaki's argument.
Remember Biden STOPPED signing leases on land that produces 24% of our oil and gas production!
Biden banned in just 7 days from taking office, the exploration on land that produces 24% of our nation's oil/gas !
All above are FACTS...not my guesses, or subjective observation...BUT FACTS!

Hey moron should we halt economy like it has in April 2020 so we can get some of that sweet sweet recession gas?
