While there were some issues on the border between the newly annexed part and Ukraine, Trump took office and began to arm them.

Then Xiden took office, with his pro-Putin policies, including lifting sanctions, and they invaded the rest of the country.

Germany invaded France in 1940...we didn't go in to help them....we didn't even enter the war until 1941 after we were attacked...then we declared war.
