It makes it sounds like Biden has it banned for Miami.

Really it was the

Bob Graham Education Center library after complaint from parent

That had it banned.

Hell, AI can write better poems than that crap. :laughing0301:

Me: Write a short poem about an evil troll named Joe, who lives under a bridge

ChatGPT:

In the dark abyss beneath the bridge's span, Lurks an evil troll, known as Joe, a feared man. With eyes like fire and a wicked grin, He waits for unsuspecting souls to begin.

His fingers sharp as daggers, his heart cold and vile, Joe takes pleasure in causing mischief and guile. From the shadows he creeps, sowing fear and dread, As his malevolence haunts the paths that tread.

Children beware, for Joe's hunger is vast, A taste for innocence, he seeks it to the last. With every step closer, his presence looms, An ominous figure, shrouded in gloom.

But remember, dear ones, courage must rise, To face the darkness that hides behind Joe's guise. United we stand, strong and bold, To protect the innocent, our spirits untold.

So let us join hands, a beacon of light, Guiding lost souls through the darkest of night. For even under the bridge where evil may dwell, Goodness prevails, breaking Joe's wicked spell.

Dems need to get some adjustments of their tinfoil hats. Not ever decision about what grade level what material is appropriate for is creeping theocracy. They didn't ban the poem, they made it available to kids more likely to understand it.

Suppose there were a reading selection describing the molecular-biological components of evolution via natural selection, as a process of specific chemical reactions. One can say that is not Pre-K appropriate material without reference to the Flying Speghetti Monster.

This poem may have been intended by the author to be on the upper elementary level. But with today's abject failures in education, especially in the wake of the Teacher Union demanded school shutdowns, what elementary kids can read is much different from what we were able to read when we were there.

What was in that poem that was so offensive?

And why do people think anything that offends their delicate sensibilities must be banned?
