I'm not so sure about that. Special Prosecutors have a bad habit of ruining people's lives and going into areas that had nothing to do with the original investigation.

Remember when Patrick Fitzgerald investigated who leaked Valerie Plames Name. Well, it turns out it was an anti-war circle jerk from people who opposed the war, but he still prosecuted Scooter Libby for not remembering a conversation the same way Tim Russert remembered it.

Remember when Ken Starr investigated Whitewater. Well, he didn't find any wrongdoing there, but look, Bill Clinton lied about getting a blow job in a nusciance civil suit that was dismissed without merit!

Well, that was actually his job. Mueller did his job, he documented where Trump obstructed his investigation. He admitted that he didn't have a direct link between Russia and Trump because all the lackeys fell on their swords. (which is pretty much what happened in all those other cases.) Congress chose not to pursue obstruction because Trump truly learned his lesson... on, no, wait, he got impeached two times for other misconduct.
