I don't understand why he rolled back the agreement with Mexico to hold asylum seekers in Mexico rather than the U.S, what purpose would this achieve?

That will happen when the Democrats and Republicans drive wages so far down we're no longer a market for their high productivity goods. They can't replace their trade with the U.S. by catering to Red China, so they will dry up along with us.

Same reason as above, but the yuan will never become a world currency; their banking system is a complete farce n0w, and they are too corrupt to fix it. Digital currencies are guaranteed to fail too; when 95% of the population is poor and starving the infrastructure and markets can't support a 'digital economy'; it is already reverting to barter again in many places. This is not to say the dollar will remain dominant, but gold and silver will come back, as it already has as an international currency. If you have access to the stats check out the levels of institutional buying going on the gold and silver markets as well as commodities in general. It's all there in the open.

As a Canadian you’d better hope that’s not the case...Canada would suffer if that happens too.

Your border or the U.S dollar being the standard?

I've been wise enough and applied basic common sense to understand for a very long time that Canada is far better off siding with the U.S and having the U.S remain a global empire along with your dollar being the global standard.

It has been business leaders, fools and those who followed what much of Europe was promoting ("hey, Canada join us in hugging China, they are the future") who believed that we should become closer to China. I have my personal suspicions as to why the push to China was promoted. I definitely see some serious buyers remorse about this ideology.

We can't turn back the clock, but we can roll back our dependence and the blind acceptance of what has been going on. The world should become more like America, not vice versa. Until Americans and your leaders understand this and in fact, demand this, we are going to be chasing our proverbial tail in the race to the bottom.

Reagan understood this leadership role. It must be maintained and expanded. Too many people lost their lives fighting fascism to embrace and reward it in 2021.
