Biden considering "preemptive pardons" for those targeted for revenge

Here’s a thought:

Trump can tell his kids not to pay their 2024 income tax that will come due on April 15, which I imagine is tens of millions of dollars, and let them know that on April 16, he will issue a pre-emotive pardon for any crimes against the U.S. committed from the time each reached 18 until April 16, 2025.

He will have to wait until they're actually charged with the crime in order to pardon them for it nonetheless; pardons are for criminal charges and/or convictions; can't pardon anybody for doing nothing and not charged with anything.

It's a damn shame it has come to this, but it's a good idea.

If this were done, the incoming administration would be able to more fully focus on destroying our critical institutions and leaving millions of Americans in the lurch in the name of its narcissistic, paranoid, authoritarian ideology. This list could get quite long, considering how many people have dared to publicly challenge this person.

Biden White House Is Discussing Preemptive Pardons for Those in Trump’s Crosshairs

The deliberations touch on pardoning those currently in office, elected and appointed, as well as former officials who’ve angered Trump and his loyalists.

Those who could face exposure include such members of Congress’ Jan. 6 Committee as Sen.-elect Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Trump has previously said Cheney ā€œshould go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!ā€ Also mentioned by Biden’s aides for a pardon is Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who became a lightning rod for criticism from the right during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Reason #6,278 liberalism is a mental disorder. TDS is a sub category.

Except that Biden issued a blanket pardon for any crimes his son may have committed from 2014 forward, even crimes not yet uncovered.

And of course they're not legal and won't stand. He can only pardon him for crimes he's been charged with. When Trump is inaugurated, Biden won't be pardoning anybody any more, and in any case RICO violations have no statutes of limitations, same as murder charges don't. Any charges filed after Trump takes office can be prosecuted; they will be new cases he was never charged with.

Well, that's different, according to Joe, Hunter was unfairly targeted for prosecution by The Biden Administration. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

That would be great if Biden’s blanket pardon of Hunter for crimes yet unknown would be overturned, but from what I’m reading, experts say it’s highly unusual but nothing within the Constitution prevents it. Unfortunately.

This does show, however, how desperate Biden or his handlers are to hide the crimes of the Deep State. There’s talk now of him pardoning Fauci.

Maybe next he’ll come out with a pardon for all DOJ employees for anything wrong that might have done that nobody knows about.

I can't find anything that allows it, only that it's impossible to pardon anybody who hasn't been charged with a crime or convicted of anything yet. The definition of a pardon excludes that.

Dont feed to trolls. That poster is a useless troll….essentially masturbating using the keyboard and this forum.

Curried Goats = IM2 = SUPERBADBRUTHA

Do not get sidetracked by the troll. The mods should know this, many boards have IP ADDRESSES connected to the posters. The FLORIDA GATOR FOOTBALL board I modded back in the day had this feature.

I thought curried goatherder was also marener.

Are you sitting on the fence with no dog in the fight?

Now you know why Dante in Inferno reserved a worse punishment for those who followed no banner than those who were guilty of minor sins.

Could the Supreme Court disallow it? I’d love that.
Yes, SCOTUS could "disallow it" if someone(s) with standing brought a case before them. However, in Hunter's case that would be extremely difficult to accomplish.
