Where is this "gusher of tax dollars"? Did you know the Education Department has the smallest budget in the federal government? Of course you didn't, because you just repeat talking points.
Most funding for the government school systems is raised locally through school taxes and never see the Education Department in Washington DC. Public school area huge expense for the nation's taxpayers. Here in the city of Hermitage, the school tax is 63 mills, the city tax for city services outside of the schools is 5 mills.
