Broadcaster says reporter asked ‘inappropriate’ question before women’s World Cup match

“In Morocco it’s illegal to have a gay relationship. Do you have any gay players in your squad, and what’s life like for them in Morocco?” the BBC reporter asked.

It was a stupid question really. Nobody is going to answer a question like that which may endanger themselves or team mates.

But it has raked up the issue. Why are we playing sports with these backward regimes ? FIFA dont give a shit about human rights, so who does care ?

The Afghan ladies team are now based in Australia after escaping the regime.. FIFA doesnt recognise them. Its very poor.
