These states have the right to stop/prevent crime in their state, they're failing.

Protecting citizens is the #1 job of our government, state or federal.

Point taken….. National Guard presence is not a long term solution. The fact that the National Guard can show up and these crimes drop substantially means that current local law enforcement policies and resources are not being managed effectively.

We are definitely a far cry from defund the police.

True. This exercise and debate sure is exposing the failures of city, state, and local governments in Maryland, Illinois, and others when it comes to welfare and safety of its citizens.

States may win the 10th Amendment debate but they are going to lose politically. They are going to be shown for putting politics before people.

It was finally got it corrected in 2024 after he was Governor. Blame tne Army and not him…. He who let the whole world know that he was awarded the Bronze Star. It took him becoming Governor for the fucked up Army to correct it.
