How much of a book do you want?

Schools are day treatment centers and have been fully therapized. You can't listen, you can't learn? You must have "trauma". You must have had a hard time at some point so you can't be expected to do any of that.

It's exhausting on a personal level, but worse, it's TERRIBLE for the kids. And worse for kids from hard backgrounds. The way out is to help them achieve something, not to coddle their hurt feelings.

I am not saying the Federal government should control all of education but at least set goals and reward those schools that achieve them. Make sure they have funding to achieve the goals. We need to be on a wartime footing on education.

Who's going to get Gentle Parents to understand that if you never tell your child 'no' and they enter a school situation, they are already behind?

The USA was #27 in brains, but I'm sure we have slipped since then, I put the average American at about 90-95 now, the average progressive at about 50-70.
Think about it, 25% of the USA (voting democrats) actually supported ANOTHER four years of Biden/Harris.
