Gas prices usually go up around the holidays in the summer! They take advantage of the increased purchases to make a higher profit. False logic on your part.Well DUH!!!
Like I stated in other threads..........it ain't Trump doing it.........this is just how the industry IS.
We're entering summer now, so gas is going to go down.........because the sales on gas will cover the price dropping from all the people travelling for summer vacations and such.

Nope.Gas prices usually go up around the holidays in the summer! They take advantage of the increased purchases to make a higher profit. False logic on your part.
You're mistaken.Nope.
I took economics classes and a couple of business courses.
Gas prices came up in a conversation and all the instructors gave the same answers.
What I said.
Have you ever looked at the price of gasoline at a station located right next to the interstate as opposed to one a mile or two away. There can be 25-30 cents difference per gallon! Supply and demand is the reason.Nope.

You're mistaken.
American gas prices typically increase during the summer due to seasonal factors like the switch to summer-blend gasoline, higher travel demand, and refinery transition costs.

Well, this is expected because of location. This I cannot fault. Still does not mean that gas prices aren't going down.
When oil prices drop because of Iran losing their influence over Hormuz, gas prices will not drop because the gasoline supply has been running short because of oil companies have been meeting the demands with less oil. Heard an oil industry exec saying that on Fox News on the radio. WHEN has an executive from ANY utilities interest told the truth about anything?????? Fox? Really? ROFL
Nice try, oil prices plunged with the Iran deal right away. I had nothing to do with summer. You're flailing around.Well DUH!!!

Is there a suicide hotline number democrats can call?Well.....Trump wins again. Oil prices just fell. Dow futures surge 450 points.
PPB plunged as soon as the Iran deal was announced. Nice try though.. Prices here in far northern CA plunged from $5.64 a gallon to $4.99 a gallon in only a week. Like I said, it's because of the Iran deal not typical seasonal prices that usually rise.I will concede that MAYBE the industry has changed, but not THAT much.
I've been in Texas most all of my life, and I can tell you for a FACT, gas goes down during the summer here.
It starts going back up after school starts up.
TX gas prices are an anomaly in any case---especially in your area. The west coast has prices above $5 while inland the price is 40 cents to $1 cheaper--but typically those prices rise in the summer for the reasons cited.I will concede that MAYBE the industry has changed, but not THAT much.

Not here in California. Our gas prices go up in the summer because of regulations.Well DUH!!!
Like I stated in other threads..........it ain't Trump doing it.........this is just how the industry IS.

Ok I can see where the east and west coast states might have a rise in prices, since their tourism is seasonal and not annual.TX gas prices are an anomaly in any case---especially in your area. Hellifornia is a different kind of constant all on its own.Not here in California. Our gas prices go up in the summer because of regulations.
A college professor told you that gas prices go down in the summer? Multiple ones told you that? You might want to ask for your money back on whatever you were paying for tuition. People travel in the summer time. There is more demand for gas. That doesn't make prices go down. Sure you didn't sleep through those lectures?Nope.

As far as the average US gas price goes, yeah, it is the whole enchilada.Ok I can see where the east and west coast states might have a rise in prices, since their tourism is seasonal and not annual.
That would make sense.
But again, thats not the whole enchilada.

Louisville KY has the same formulation requirements as California for air pollution and has had forever. Gas there is always more expensive that other areas of the state.Hellifornia is a different kind of constant all on its own.
Until that state gets some REAL management in political offices, it will always be an outside constant of its own.
