15-year-old shooter took dad's new 9mm and killed 3 people, wounding 7

9MM Sig Sauer SP2022 semiautomatic pistol, was purchased by the suspect's father on Friday, four days before the shootings at the school, Bouchard said.

You think the dad can be sued for not securing his gun?

Were they unsecured? No one has shown this to be rhe case yet...

Hopefully, and if the State of Michigan has a Penal Code which makes this a crime, not only a civil case but a criminal one would be great.

So the media will give us all the names of those he killed but not the name of the shooter?

Sounds about right.

Police said the killer was shooting students at close range aiming for the head or chest. Maybe the kid just wants notoriety like Rittenhouse.

Someone who is more interested in discussion rather than just his new normal of dancing in the blood of victims, might educate themselves on what the laws actually are in Michigan, on unsecured firearms / access to a minor.

Beginning a thread citing the actual law and asking the then informed question of, 'do you think the father should be prosecuted?" is much more intellectually stimulating and conducive to discussion.

Just throwing an open question out there -- that really makes no sense legally -- leaving everything up to the reader to try to make sense of what is being asked, just shows you are only interested in generating wild speculation and outhouse lawyering.

Except Rittenhouse didn't want publicity and he didn't murder anyone....he shot 3 felons, missed the 4th, and your favorite of the four...the child rapist who raped 5 boys between the ages of 9-11, attacked him first....

You know what that means.
School was mostly white---the gun in question was reportedly a black Friday online order---two females were killed, and the boy reportedly killed was trying to stop shooter so I am thinking one of the females was THE main target and it is possible that a female shooter since they are avoiding the pronouns at all costs.
