And you would want to see this as a matter of law in America? Would you want to see leaders legislating based on their interpretation of scripture? Should we impose a moral template drawn exclusively from the Bible on all American citizens?...

I want to see equal application of the law regarding civil rights. If gay people can sue Christians for refusing to promote gay sex culture via the vehicle of marriage (a thing forbidden to Christians under pain of soul-death..a mortal sin) then Christians could sue a gay billboard artist for refusing on principle to print a billboard for a busy highway that says "Homosexuality is a sin unto God".

Fair enough? You do understand the 1st Amendment is a civil right? And the 9th means when it comes to civil rights, nobody can play favorites..

What if that Gay billboard maker does not produce political billboards? Should the Christian still sue?

That's a strawman. This particular billboard maker makes every and any type of billboard under the sun.

In such a case the billboard maker would have no grounds to deny service to the so-called Christian client. Just as any baker who makes wedding cakes in the normal course of his business would have no grounds to deny a same sex couple the same level of service he provides to all other couples.

Christians do have a long established ground to deny participating in a gay wedding. It's called the 1st Amendment. The LGBT cult's johnny-come-lately incomplete (just the courts' favorites) behavior-escaping majority regulation amendment to the Constitution is a brand new and flawed law that will unravel in the next 5 years or less. So the Christian's thousands years old mandate to not promote homosexuality spreading in any culture (marriage the ultimate vehicle thereby), and their 1st Amendment civil rights gives them every reason to stand down and refuse to participate in gay "weddings".

The LGBT cult cannot tell Christians to abdicate their faith and commit the mortal sin described in Jude and Romans 1 of the New Testament of Jesus Christ. Sorry.
