I lived in Switzerland for a year and have visited France, Holland, Denmark, Sweden and Norway many times. You don't have many religious fanatics but the countries are safe, clean and prosperous. The people seem happier and less violent than in the US.

No, you did not. People's refusal to either condemn or defend your offering of the 5 atheist nations does not mean anything.

And you studiously ignoring the nations which are mostly atheist and among the happiest places to live shows your arguments do not fly.

You offered China, North Korea, Cuba, Laos, and Vietnam as the atheist nations, while you ignored others. China is one I would like to see, for the rich history. North Korea is a police state. Cuba (I have visited-snorkeling was some of the best I have ever done) is just impoverished. Laos and Vietnam make Cuba seem like a rich nation.

I dislike communism as a form of gov't. I especially dislike brutal socialist/communist governments. But atheism does not equate to brutal socialist/communist government. The proof is in Scandinavian countries, Germany, France etc.
