If my island country that I made a website about, was a real country and it attacked the USA at a place such as Pearl Harbor...
First of all, such an attack really needs to be done, prepared to fight a war, not commit a suckerpunch.
It really needed to be done with a fleet of about 12 Aircraft carriers at least the size of the modern day American Wasp Class LHD, and with two angled flight decks, one on each side, along with the middle flight deck.
On those decks needed to be fighter planes with heavy kevlar armor, self sealing fuel tanks, a powerful V12 fuel injection aviation twin engine, with 400 gallons of fuel per engine..
4000 horsepower per engine, with turbo chargers.
A layer of thick self sealing rubber skin..
Bullet proof protective plexiglass over the cockpit.
That plane needed to sport 8, 50 caliber machine-guns in its wings, and two 50 caliber miniguns in the engine cowling, and 2 20mm machineguns in the nose.
A pair of nightvision goggles..
That carrier fleet needed to be protected by a fleet of at least 16 battleships, sporting twelve 16 inch rifled guns that are 100 feet long, firing twelve 16 inch shells made of solid Tungsten Carbide.
The guns being held in quadruple turrets.
40 5 inch guns, 140 40mm bofors, and 140 20mm twin oerlikons.
A fleet of at least 80 diesel electric submarines with thick rubber coating, and sound reducing propeller covers around the propellers and over the propeller blades..
And a 120 ft electronic telescoping periscope with display camera, and night vision capability..
Firing peroxide powered torpedoes, with 1000 lbs of HMX as the main explosive.
There also needed to be nothing against hitting the "soft targets" as those allowed the USA such a quick recovery when left alone by the Japanese.
