Atlanta is burning down, because of another black thug.

I just watched the police body cam video

100% looks like the cops acted appropriately the whole time

this was a clean shoot, suspect had a weapon and had turned around and was firing it

those officers deserve to be exonerated and put back on active duty if they still want the job that is...

body cam video here -

The police should be trained not to use a Taser within easy reach of a suspect. It is almost a natural reaction to grab something that is shocking you or will shock you. Then for such a simple mistake of grabbing the Taser, they get shot.

You don’t say.

He attacked the cops after they gave him a sobriety test and he failed and was being put under arrest and got ahold of the taser.

Couldn't you ask though why did they have to arrest him? Why not just call his family to come and pick him up so that he can get home safely? From what I have been reading and hearing he was not causing any problems leading up to that and was just asleep in a car.
That wouldn't happen to me. I would get fucking arrested for drunk driving. They would take my white ass to jail.

That is a dangerous thing to do and one of the leading causes for fatalities on the highway, you ignorant fuck.

Anybody who does that must pay the consequences so that they never do it again.

.
I wasn’t saying that he should have been able to drive home if he failed a sobriety test I said that the police could have had a family member or friend come and pick him up so that everybody got home safely. They had his information and so in theory as a way to deescalate they could have followed up with him the next day when he is sober to then process any potential criminal charges. I’m just trying to offer alternatives to the way it’s always been done.

He started fighting with them. The two officers could not hold him.

I know, I was just trying to say that there were other ways of handling it before it got to the point perhaps.

Link to come, watching live on TV. Black thugs are rioting and looting. Cops should quit..
And Wendys must be destoyed lol

Corporate Wendys is now donating a half million dollars to " black causes" for every wendys you burn down ...while supplies last ...

Wendys franchise owner of that location is also taking a knee

bullshit, he was driving drunk, in fact, he passed out in his car in a drive through line

100% professional and appropriate response by the officers in this case

cop even asked how.suspect was doing...

watch the body cam video, it exonerates the cops 100%

in fact, the cops really need to sue for wrongful termination, they will easily win

No resisting arrest with violence, stealing the cops tazer and running away and trying to shoot the cop with said tazer he got shot

It happens, but life is precious and if a needless death can be avoided, it should be. Keeping a Taser out of the easy reach of a suspect could be one of the reforms that is being called for.

No,life may be precious, but not low life. It's practically a tautology.

Did you watch the video? He seemed like a nice enough guy. Oh, because he was a drunk driver, he became a lowlife. That makes for a lot of lowlifes in our country.

Exactly

I wish they would start publishing the IQ of these guys. How are you going to start running away in that situation? Do you think you are going to get away and then it will be over?

He was drunk. Drunk scared people do stupid things.
From experience..........drunk people aren't scared.........LOL

Trump should send in the marines right away.. take them all out

Declare Martial law all over the US, Trump and Trump alone is boss. No fucking half brain demotard mayors and governors who like and promote this rioting. Send in the active troops, put a stop to this bullshit. By ANY means necessary.

Not sure the shooting was completely justified. The guy was running away and tried to fire the taser over his shoulder. Not much of a threat.

And they had his car and know who he is.

That’s a judgment a lot easier for you to make watching on a video than being there live having it happen to you

I agree. But when a suspect if running away, they are not an eminent threat.

They are when they fire a weapon at you while running away

The People could argue in court that the suspect had demonstrated that he was willing to shoot a cop, and that the cops did not know whether or not the suspect had a second unfired weapon that he might be willing to use, but I doubt if the jury would have bought that as justifiable homocide, in view of the fact that the tazer was no longer loaded at the time he was killed.

A taser is not loaded. A taser deploys tiny fish hook like projectiles that pierce the skin. The hooks are attached to wires and electric current disables the victim. If used improperly it can cause cardiac arrest. It is not difficult to kill someone with a taser. It is not a toy. It is a true weapon that incapacitates if used properly, and can kill if used improperly.
And even if it is non-lethal, that could incapacitate a police officer who is actually caring a firearm. Now this idiot criminal has access to a firearm.

Anybody trying to incapacity to police officer is an imminent threat to society and must be put down immediately. Officers do not have a choice in that situation. They must put this person down or it is derelict of duty.

.

Actually, they not only have a choice, but he chose the wrong choice, which is why he was fired.

As bad as all this is, I feel somewhat thankful that Trump will poor gasoline on the fire by tomorrow morning with more racist tweets, which will drive the last two or three African-American supporters that he has left to abandon him.

Wrong, The vast majority of Black Americans are good law abiding people. They do not want murder, looting, and destruction of their neighborhoods any more than you do. For you to assume Black Americans support this type of violence and destruction is pretty damn racist.

Don't recall saying that black Americans condone illegal. behavior. Perhaps you are confusing me with someone else.

He had already fired it at the cop. Therefore, it was UNLOADED.
Then how did two cops manage to fire it three times at him (witness video) and Brooks was still able to fire it again?

Link?

And if you are the cop, you don't know that he hasn't pulled a weapon and as his arm swings around you are not facing a bullet.

Well, now, using that logic, cops should just go ahead and shoot everyone they apprehend, since you never know what they are going to threaten the cop with next...

Are you saying the cops will be arrested? If they are every cop in America will quit

No, I am saying that the cop has already been fired and then will be arrested and tried. BTW, I wear a Sheriff Auxiliary uniform myself, don't get paid, and have no plans to resign.

That's no reason to shoot him fool. Why are police drawing weapons and shooting people over petty bullshit? Police are out of control.
no they are not
