As this collapse continues, does anyone have any guesses as to what this country looks like in 20 years?

It is….. but that is not the argument. My hope is that it will be able to run the economy just as good as oil/ fossil fuels if not better. But, we are nowhere near that level. It makes no sense to compromise people’s livelihoods by hindering the domestic oil industry with punitive regulations and taxes.

Once an alternative energy can power a plane, a train, ship, truck, car, plastics, heating, electricity, and building materials at the same or better price than oil, then the market will transition.
