You’re Watching the Old Order Collapse…and the People Who Built It Would Rather Burn America Down Than Lose Power

So, Mr. Trump, for all his flaws, attempts to bring order out of chaos at home and in global relations, and the agents of chaos mightily resent the shut-down of their precious chaos
Trump is an example of what declining empires vomit up during the terminal stage of their destruction; good riddance:

Decline and Fall

"At the start of the 20th century, the British Empire was, like our own, in terminal decline.

"Sixty percent of Englishmen were physically unfit for military service, as are 77 percent of American youth.

"The Liberal Party, like the Democratic Party, while it acknowledged the need for reform, did little to address the economic and social inequalities that saw the working class condemned to live in substandard housing, breathe polluted air, be denied basic sanitation and health care and forced to work in punishing and poorly paid jobs..."

"We are making the same self-defeating mistakes made by the British political class that oversaw the decline of the British Empire and orchestrated the suicidal folly of World War I.

"We blame the poor for their own impoverishment.

"We believe in the superiority of the white race over other races, :stir: crushing the plethora of voices, cultures and experiences that create a dynamic society.

"We seek to counter injustices, along with economic and social inequality, with hypermasculinity, militarism and force, which accelerates the internal decay and propels us toward a disastrous global war, perhaps, in our case, with China."

Pray the criminals dont steal the equity from my home so that I can move to America and help you guys win. Sometimes it only takes one man!

So what are you worried about? Your mail-in voter fraud system is safe.

Following laws, like open borders, or illegally paying down student loans, or sanctuary cities, or cashless bail?

Linky linky???
Sucker! That's all I will say about you MAGA UnAmericans

82 million can't afford health care, but Hegseth gets lobster

The U.S. Department of Defense spent $93 billion last September as the fiscal year closed. One week of Trump's Iran war cost taxpayers $11.3 billion. And we're just getting started.

The good news is the Pentagon is swimming in millions of dollars worth of ribeye steak and lobster tails, part of more than $93 billion the U.S. Department of Defense spent in September as the fiscal year closed.

Busted! So basically any DOGE savings they cut, they take for themselves.

Meanwhile back in reality,...

The blob said on social media he won’t sign any more bills until Congress passes election reform; something that the federal government doesn’t have a constituional role in officiating.

The sole creator of chaos is the blob.
Your side is literally insane. It defends cheating in elections and illegal immigration. Completely, totally and violently anti-American.

It was going alright until you guys elected Reagan, Bush 1 & 2 and Trump twice.

Our country runs best when we have a Democratic president. Since the end of the cold war we created 50 million jobs. Republicans are now at zero. It used to be 1 million but you DOGED that up.

And now Trump keeps/spends whatever he saves on himself. Noem, Pete Hegseth, Kash and every other cabinet member is cleaning up. Have you seen the spending?

Yeah, I've seen the spending. It's almost as much as your somali voters stole from us in Minnesota alone.

Yes, that's what the rich want. Blame them. Pit you white poor people against them. Or the Mexicans. Or Muslims. Illegals. It's always someone else.

How is the Minnesota economy doing? You doing alright?

As of late 2025 and early 2026, there are an estimated 107,000 to over 108,000 people of Somali descent living in Minnesota.

Dearborn, Michigan, has the highest concentration of Muslims and Arab Americans in the United States, with over 55% of its roughly 110,000 residents claiming Middle Eastern or North African ancestry as of 2023.

And we are doing great. *****.

Spending at the end of the fiscal year always happens, and always will until departments get rewarded for turning in a surplus instead of getting punished for it.
As for feeding the troops well. I have absolutely no problem with that.

You’re Watching the Old Order Collapse…

and the People Who Built It Would Rather Burn America Down Than Lose Power

9 Mar 2026 ~~ By John Howard Kunstler

Don’t lose the plot. Embrace the suck. This is the world’s hard time, for now. The birth of anything can be a bloody horror. It can even look like death. Don’t be too afraid to see what comes on the other side of this awful spectacle.
So many Americans are rooting and wishing for the Iran war to turn out badly for Western Civ. And why? Because Trump. And why? Because at the same time he is ending Iran’s long-running nuclear blackmail game, he is terminating the rackets of the Democratic Party. The incipient changes in operational order create new categories of winners and losers.
Now you know why Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists run on the same track as America’s Woke-Jacobin-Marxists, including the pitifully deluded wine ladies of posh West LA, Grosse Point, Beacon Hill, Fairfax County, et cetera, whose brains have been hijacked by the cable news demon factory (and their sponsors). Chaos does everything possible to avoid meeting order.
And this is why passing the SAVE Act is as consequential as ridding the Middle East of its chief chaos agent. Do you realize how perfectly insane our country’s election procedure has become? The fraud is titanic and right in your face, and the remedy is so plain and simple. What possible excuse is there to thwart it? Non-citizens have no right to vote. Mail-in ballots are patently subject to chicanery. Vote tabulation machines are demonstrably hackable. 80-percent of Americans know this is the truth. How is there controversy over this?
How? Because among all the broken institutions in our country, Congress is the worst. The Congress of our time is demonstrating that we might not be worthy of governing ourselves. We are at a cycle-low for public rectitude. Anything goes and nothing matters as long as the campaign contributions keep rolling in. You see how this has been going.
~Snip~
So, Mr. Trump, for all his flaws, attempts to bring order out of chaos at home and in global relations, and the agents of chaos mightily resent the shut-down of their precious chaos. With Iran, it has come to fighting fire with fire. It’s unlikely that most of the people in that country seek to become martyrs. The cult of martyrdom is strictly the business of the maniacs who seized power there in 1979, a reign of terror, extended by proxy around the whole Middle East and beyond.
Entwined with Iran’s oil business, and the energy security of many nations, the mullahs inflect the trade of this primary resource with their chaos. The world cannot cope with chaos in the oil trade. The collapsing regime of the mullahs wants to go out turning the entire world into a martyr. Just like the Democratic Party wants to martyr the founding principles of the USA to preserve its matrix of moneygrubbing and power-seeking. These are two forces that require the most severe discipline and Mr. Trump is acting to impose exactly that. It’s painful to witness, but it must happen if we want to continue the human project as a reality-based enterprise.
So, heed what is at stake in the events unspooling. This is a dark moment in a journey back to daylight. Have faith. As the old American hymn goes: Farther along we’ll know more about it; farther along we’ll understand why.

Commentary:
John Kunstler's thesis reflects a common sentiment found in modern political commentary regarding the "old order" or "establishment." The idea suggests that entrenched leaders would rather see institutions fail than relinquish control.
Even posts on this board many of the discussions often center on whether the "death of American capitalism" or the dismantling of agencies like USAID represents a shift toward "oligarchic nihilism," where the ruling class prioritizes its own power over the survival of the system.
Certainly we've been warned by our forefathers and those that came after by people like Thomas Jefferson and
Abraham Lincoln who warned of the internal collapse of democracy if the 'Rights Of The People' were secondary to the interests of those in power.
Today's political landscape in the U.S. is marked by significant turmoil. Many believe that those in power are prioritizing their interests over the well-being of the nation. This has led to widespread discontent among the populace.
We saw that beginning in 2020 with the "Summer of Love" and the Stolen election followed by a pseudo presidency supposed led by an Alzheimer's riddled septuagenarian that began work at 12:00 PM and closed shop at 3:00 PM.
Indeed, many Americans wondered then who was really running the country.
Yet, today the same political leaders tell us the president elected to lead this country is tearing America apart.

I think what makes Trump really special is he's one of the very few who is out for the best interests of the country, and he is motivated by that altruistic goal. He doesn't want for money or power. He's already won on those counts. He doesn't need either one. You will NEVER find a Democrat like that. Every longtime Democrat you can think of enriched himself or herself through their political career.

What makes you "special" is your unqualified belief that Trump cares about anyone other than himself. Nothing in your loving assessment of the lying convicted felon and rapist is true.

Trump has lost money all of his life. Everything he has, he inherited or stole, and there isn't enough money or power in the world to satisfy his lust for both. The only other consideration in his life is his lust for revenge and the wish to destroy anyone who so much as criticizes him. 4000 law suits is a world record, and not in a good way. The man invented "lawfare" and has practiced it for decades.

It would be impossible to find any human being as corrupt, incompetent or uncaring as Donald Trump, or any group of people so willing to suspend all logic and reason to believe his lies and bullshit.

MAGA = Morons are governing America.

It speaks to the OP right?

Trump was supposedly going to stop business as usual. Now, his supporters are not even remotely interested when business as usual is practiced. How does $93 Billion not get allocated?

Biblically, the antichrist in end times prophesy, is who creates a new world order or one world order....Christians have mistakenly believe the New World order had already been created, with a cabal of Global elites ruling it all for generations now,
but no... turned out not to be the case!
The New World order, is being created NOW!

Or, life seems to repeat itself, in cycles? :dunno:

You gotta be shittn' me. He is out for trump, not American. He just sells the MAGA routine blind followers. He should not have gone in, to help Israel with it's attack, though we should never have gotten in the way of Israel attacking Iran or it's proxies. But, the simple fact is nothing changed since he "obliterated" (his words) their nuclear program, and even his Secretary of State said Iran was not enriching. There was nothing that made him rush into this. He just chose to. The build up, for him was all on the military side, with no care for American's abroad or arrangements to get them out, as if the military build up was some kind of secret. Regional allies were not told. Heck our own front line and regional units, not directly involve from the jump weren't told. This probably led to some shooting down a plane or two of ours, by friendly fire.

It speaks to the OP right?

Trump was supposedly going to stop business as usual. Now, his supporters are not even remotely interested when business as usual is practiced. How does $93 Billion not get allocated?

And for Trump to spin it and say "We're getting rich" because of high oil prices. Who's We? Remember it dawned on him US and us was spelled the same? Perhaps this is his confusion. Because WE aren't getting rich with high gas prices. Are we? Or is Trump and Hegseth and Noem spending it up along with Kash Patel?

Here's what's blowing me away. Remember they wrongfully blamed Biden for supply chain problems and the Ukraine war? Gas went up to $5? These were not his fault.

The highest average gas price in the United States during the Biden administration occurred in June 2022, when the national average peaked at over $5 per gallon ($5.034 per gallon

As of mid-March 2026, California consistently has the highest gas prices in the U.S., averaging over $5.30 per gallon, with some areas approaching $6.

Also consider this As of mid-March 2026, the U.S. national average for regular gasoline has surged to approximately $3.58–$3.63 per gallon
How is that possible? Were the oil companies gouging us under Biden? Because today is worse than 2022
The March 2026 conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran has triggered the largest oil supply disruption in history, following the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Over 20% of global oil (approx. 8 million barrels per day) was disrupted, collapsing tanker traffic and sending prices over $100/bbl.
