I watched a youtube video showing how to change the engine belt on my car and the job was fairly easy.
Although, now the engine runs really rough and the belt squeals like crazy. So I put some grease on the belt but it didn't help. (actually made it worse)
Now I'm thinking the parts store guy (actually it was a women working the desk) sold me the wrong belt?
I had a feeling she probably didn't know what she was doing. Ya know being a female trying to do a man's job.
Put some Biden "I did that" stickers on them.I'm already ahead of you.
I spray coated them with a clear silicone lubricant.
It made the glossy black paint on the rotors look even better. ...
Are they supposed to be painted?
Many faggots do the same thing but i think they squeak after you grease them. I need Tommy to verify if that is true.If your rotors are squeaking, you should grease them.
I figured Lubriplate would last longer. Gotta keep those squeaks down.Make sure to use a thick coat of WD40 or motor oil to keep the "glossy" look of the rotors.
The belt didnt look like this, did it?View attachment 655020
