People not on SNAP make crap food choices too. If they don't get November benefits, so be it. If Trump uses its rainy day fund to pay benefits, so be that. Shutdowns should have consequences.

This kind of codswallop nauseates me. You’re still blaming the victims. People are not making poor choices because they want to eat crap They are making choices based on what they can afford . People are struggling to feed themselves and their families because food , like medical care and housing is treated as a privilege rather than a right . People on SNAP are not lazy bums who don’t want to work. Many are active military or veterans , others are seniors who do not have pensions or adequate resources,, They are the disabled . And then there are the children .

And you probably have the temerity to call yourself a Christian! I do not believe in hell, but there is a part of me that hopes that is such a place …..a place for people like you ….not where you will burn but where you will starve

Oh yes, you will ridicule me and respond with some stupid emoji . But you will think about what I’m saying. You will be haunted by it. Even if you are not religious or spiritual , you can not deny the reality of Karma . Everything that you do in life-good or bad will com back to you in the end , Sleep well

Holy shit on a shingle! WHAT ! !?? How much time do you spend in grocery stores ? Have you taken detailed notes on which racial and ethnic groups buy which products or do you just pass judgement on some anecdotal observations that you made? What about white people, many of who at=re on SNAP? They buy and eat a lot of crap with and without SNAP . Nothing to say about them?

So what are all of these people buying? And how the hell do you know who is on SNAP? Who is paying with VISA vs, an EBT? You don't

Your racism is as palatable as your stupidity and absence of empathy . Would you be ok on a diet of rice and beans? The bottom line is that SNAP benefits are not sufficient to sustain a healthy diet for anyone, and many people are struggling to feed their families despite their best efforts and hard work . In addition, healthy food is simply not accessible for a of of people. I really hope that there is that special hell for you where you will suffer starvation
