Are You REALLY a Rightie...Or a Leftie? Or Something Else

I am curious to know what this pollster considers the death penalty to be. I am guessing the anti-death penalty position is considered to be a Left wing position. But conservative Catholicism is opposed to the death penalty, so it is wrong to assume someone who is opposed to the death penalty is aligned with the Left.

Myself, I believe the death penalty process is seriously broken right now, regardless of my personal religious convictions.

The question about the 2008 bailot is also too ambiguous. I think people of all political stripes support it, and people of all political stripes oppose it.

I believe these two question skew the results.

Most of the questions are poorly worded.
good Question because I am tottaly anti Death penalty. Death is to easy, let them rot in jail for life.

A convict would much rather spend life in jail than be executed. That is why they fight execution tooth and nail.

So your premise is flawed.

Why wouldn't they? They get excellent health care as part of their sentence.

I posted this on a different thread, but really, do this. Take the test. The results will surprise you.

Your worst nightmare. Because I won't take the test.

They don't analyze for Redneck, so it's probably best.

The only surprise is the socialist thing, where apparently I agree with the socialists by wanting to.,. privatize... healthcare? I don't understand this poll's view of socialism.

Also apparently the Path to Citizenship is socialist.

Agreed. There were a whole lot of questionable questions -- abortion... death penalty... evolution... things that have nothing to do with politics. The rest tended to be oversimplified.

Btw I think what you meant earlier was when you answered as a person who agrees with Fox News/MSNBC -- rather than "watches". There's a difference.

Those have everything to do with politics.

No, they really don't. Those are religious questions. Politicians may co-opt them but they're being disingenuous when they do.

no surprise...

I agree with the Democrats 0%. I agreed with the greens (8%) and socialists (4%) more. Wow, no one would be surprised by that. It validates what I always say, the Democrats are wrong on every issue. Now it's proven.

I was split between Libertarian and Republican. This quiz included pretty much every issue I disagree with the Libertarians on, so that's probably pretty accurate for the content of the quiz. Anyway, my biggest issue with the Republicans on fiscal issues is not what they say but what they do. If I were grading the quiz, I'd repeatedly ding agreement with the Republicans on that. It's easy to talk, and that's what they do. Though on social and military I'm gong to be a lot more aligned with the Libertarians.

I'm mildly surprised that according to this I'd be considered a socialist but nothing else here I'm surprised about

Science is not a religious question.

So you agree with "let him die"?
