Are You REAL ID Ready?

It's not crazy at all once you understand how corrupt powers operate.

Have you ever heard of the Hegelian Dialectic? Problem - Reaction - Solution?

I'm not making this up, and it's nothing new. It's an old strategy. In order to bring about an agenda that the public would ordinarily reject, the public has to be manipulated into going along with it.

So first there must be a "problem"... whether it's an existing problem or a "problem" that is created. Then comes the public's reaction. (Outrage, fear, and demands for the government to "do something!") Then comes the "solution".... which just so happens to be the pre-planned agenda in the first place. Problem - Reaction - Solution.

Here's another way to sum it up:

Yes, but it may not be accepted.

May
What if
But. But. But.

Provide a list of nations that refuse passports because expiration date is 6 months in the future . If your intended stay is beyond 6 months that can be a different matter but being a proven liar, you omitted that Fact

I think passports are still going to be accepted as an ID to fly domestically. I hope so.

But now I need to check to see if my passport is still good. I don't remember what year I got it.

? I linked the passport site. I was just noting so posters don't get caught unawares like we almost did. I found out on an FAQ from Viking.

This type of apathetic attitude is what leads to more and more restrictions, and if you think it's going to stop there, you are woefully naive.

Every time you use your debit card they know where you are and what your purchasing. Your really afraid of a card you keep in your wallet???

If youve gotten a class one or class 2 drivers liscense youve been required to have a real ID for years now. thats when I got mine at the California DMV. It hasnt altered my life at all and no Feds have come knocking on my door

A passport is as good or better.
I was surprised to find out that a Veterans Health ID card, VHIC, is Real ID compliant as well. Personally, I would like all states to offer Enhanced drivers licenses. Four states currently do. WA is one, MN, NY and VT are the others. A passport is required to obtain one, but it allows you to travel to Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean without your passport. They are convenient for us folks who live in border states and cross often and they actually work. I've used mine numerous times when traveling to Canada and Mexico.

I know it didn't start with Trump. I've said that like 3 times now!
The Real ID act was passed by congress in 2005. I don't know why it has taken so long for it to finally be implemented--gridlock in DC?

I have a retired military ID.

Guess what?

Old military IDs are not accepted as REAL ID.

Check with your local RAPIDS office and make an appointment.
next time I go to my bedroom, I'll check the expiration date.

I don't remember seeing one on it in the past.

But the only time I have my ID on me is when I go to a doctors apt.

about once every 1-2 months.

We're not talking about "real" IDs that are necessary for getting a driver's license, like a birth certificate, passport, etc. We're talking about a specific ID called the "REAL ID" that requires you to submit additional information to the government, and they're saying is going to be required for flying domestically, starting May 7.

So this is a specific ID called the "REAL ID"... And last time I got my driver's license, I didn't have to provide that, and obviously I couldn't have provided it since I don't have one, yet I was still able to get a driver's license.

How is having to prove one is a citizen a 'restriction?' Non-citizens already can get driver's licenses this will prohibit ILLEGALs from using their DL as a valid ID for legal residency or citizenship. 16 States already allow 'undocumented' immigrants (illegal aliens) to get driver's licenses.

I just noticed that a couple threads were already posted on this topic in the last few months. But since Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem just made an announcement yesterday, I figured I'd post a new thread.

I agree with what Thomas Massie, Catherine Austin Fitts and others have said about this. This is about control and it's just another way for our federal government to track legal citizens. Under the guise of immigration reform. But if people don't object, it's not going to stop there. Make no mistake about that.

I received my REAL ID last year.

Yes, I know. Maybe you didn't read the thread. In the second video I posted in the OP, it clearly states that this legislation came out many years ago, influenced by 9/11, the Patriot Act, etc. And I've stated throughout the thread, at least 3 or 4 times.

And I say baloney. Now that Democrats don't care whether voters are citizens or not, it has become necessary for honorable Americans to have means to be reasonably sure that only eligible citizens are able to register to vote and are able to vote.

The only control is control that gives honorable America more assurance that our elections are honest, secure and reflect the will of the American people.

Required documentation varies from state to state to obtain a Real ID compliant license. Most states will issue one with a passport or passport card or birth certificate. In all cases you must be present to obtain one. You cannot get one online.

I am aware. I was simply giving you the date which is more specific than "many years ago."
