If I recall, not even evolutionists think human beings evolved from monkeys.

But there are similarities, like genetics.

At the end of the day though, those who are religious believe man was created in the image of God. God "breathed" life into man, that is, his spirit. Man is, therefore, set above the animal kingdom and special.

But those who don't believe this believe man is just a glorified animal, destined to have them act like animals and treated like animals. Despots over the millennia would agree and have zero qualms treating people like animals.

Bed wetters tend to view humans as the equivalent of animals because they feel a need to be treated like livestock, and cared for much the same way. Sociopaths have coined terms like "human resources" as if people are a measurable quantity of fuel or another material and not individuals.

It's one thing for military operations, something entirely different for commercial operations.

This is how a collectivist's "mind" works though. Even at the expense of their own individual interests, dignity and self awareness. This is how they appear to be so callous about human life and willing to sacrifice it. It is why they should NEVER be in a position of authority in even the most remote way.

In that previous case, I did ask a question in response to your question to illustrate just how dumb your original question was. The proof being your inability to offer any potentially compelling alternative to "primate" still. Going out on a limb here, I know. But, seems to me anyway, that if there were such a thing as a stupid question, it would be one having only one, obvious answer.

That may be part of the problem, but I think it has more to do with feeling angry, lonely, hateful, bored, pointlessly contrarian, suicidal, and reactionary about the recent election results preventing them from destroying all life on Earth really, really fast. Iow, they are just miserable.

Had you read post #1, you would know that I am delaying my "point" as to not bias how people answer the poll question. I purposely have not presented an argument or a reason for asking the question.
