In all fairness, I'm sure that if I thought about it I could come up with a few, same with Republicans. Generally speaking I'm not overly fond of any politician. I have voted for members of both parties, if I thought the candidate was the man, or woman, best suited for the job.

I don't know what "USMB RWers" like or don't like. Point one out to me and I'll ask him. What is a "RWer" anyway?

To answer the question:
Are there any Democrats who believe that the Fed govt should stick to only the programs listed in the Constitution, and leave the rest (workplace rules, toilet sizes, health care, retirement programs etc.) to the states and lower governments if they want to take them on? And who believe that, if the Fed govt should have an additional power (such as, say, the power to regulate pollution that crosses state lines), it should get it only by Constitutional amendment?

Show me a Democrat like that, and I'll like him/her just fine. (What's he doing in the Democrat party of all places?)

Note that a lot of Republicans don't fit that description either. They are politely known as RINOs or Neocons. Some left the Democrat party because they were repelled by outright socialism, but are still liberals at heart.

But I see no reason to be nasty to you (for the most part). We disagree on matters of politics.

So far, nothing but kudos to Louisiana's new Governor, John Bell Edwards. He immediately tackled a budget issue Jindal passed on. It hurt but was necessary. He expanded medicaid immediately. He responded well to the assassination of Baton Rouge police officers. I've got zero complaints so far.
