I think it is plausible to think that a person can be negatively influenced by having to deal with the dregs of society in gang infested black areas on a regular basis. So, can we blame the 'black community' and riot against them? Are we allowed to go into Chicago and start burning buildings and looting too? Can we tear down a statue of MLK?

Listen......................our military troops who are forward deployed to a war zone see really bad things on a regular basis, and, have to be worried about whether or not they will get shot or blown up that day. Granted, there are a very few who go on to commit atrocities, but they are very few and far between, and if other troops find out about it, they generally get reported to the chain of command.

Police don't report on their own, as a matter of fact, they defend them with everything they have. And, if the military can keep tabs on the bad apples in their midst, why in the hell can't the police?

As far as PTSD? Yes, many in the military have it, but they manage it with treatment, and very few of them go on to commit crimes against the public, but a few do.

I gotta go with Leo on this one y'all. No, this wasn't an execution, using that term just amps up the vitriol on both sides. It was murder, plain and simple, and it's up to a jury to determine what level of murder it was.

People on the left gotta quit using rhetoric and inflammatory language, just like people on the right gotta stop. Making something sound worse than what it actually is (and yeah, executions by police are worse than murder), doesn't do anyone involved in the conversation any good.

Exactly....and if it’s murder one, it’s an execution. Nothing in the video showed any violence at any time by Floyd when he was moved several times by just one cop and escorted across the street where several cops started to manhandle him into a squad car. At that time he complained about being sick with Covid and did not want to be exposed again. That’s when he struggled was pinned down and killed. Once down, he kept pleading for his life....While one officer applied the knee and the others...just watched. .until he became silent.
