By now anyone who follows college football knows who Arch Manning is

Nephew of Eli and Peyton Manning, grandson of the legendary Archie Manning

He is foot royalty

I cant say how impressed with the entire Manning family

They are a class act

This is a big boost to a proud college football program that has been in a 10 year slump

I guess losing every game to Oklahoma isn't so bad when TX billionaires promise you million$ in compensation to enroll at a program where top talent goes to regress & prepare to be a WalMart greeter.
BOOMER

He was looking for 3 Million "NIL", wonder what he got.

he's handsome that's all i can judge so far

i need to see more highlights to see if he's up to the hype

Arch manning will be the highest paid college player no matter which college he attends

Texas is building a premier offense

If they can someday find a defense to match they will make you eat your words

Based on what we know of him so only a serious injury could stop hom from living up to the hype

TX is a sleeping giant in need of a top coach & a more stable behind the scenes environment. I always thought they let the donors have too much say & this didn't help anything.
We may be rivals but I'm hoping we can both dominate in the SEC in a few years.
Both teams have new coaches so it's going to be interesting to see how the programs adapt & go forward.

There is a lot of talk about the culture at Texas

And its all negative

Starting with hollywood fan matthew mcconaughey

If he doesent represent the soft wine and cheese crown no one does

Which is the opposite of the hard nose reputation at other football powerhouses

But I miss playing arkansas and Texas A&M every year

When that happens Texas and college football will step up a notch

This saturday we will see how far Texas has come since Sark got there.

Vegas has them at a 19 point underdog.

I'm still shaking my head in disbelief that the "Horns Down" gesture is a 15 yard penalty for taunting.

I think Texas has come a long way. That game aged me 10 years. Kudos to the Longhorns. And pity for the Bama players next week.

life does not begin in the pro’s

The college game is important in its own rite

Ewers was the best QB in the game till the Alabama LB hit him with a cheap shot

The college game can lead guys into the NFL. But the college game is very important in its own right.

And the hit on Ewers was not a cheap shot.

Dallas Turner was penalized for unnecessary roughness
