April 9, 1865 Lee Surrenders to Grant

Dude. Gipper made some valid points. Your response failed to address any of them. Calling him "bruh" did not help.
Unfortunately most Americans only know the sixth grade government school textbook version of the War of Northern Aggression.

The South made no agreement on Federal property when they seceded

It belonged to the loyal citizens of the US

He did not say they made an agreement. He said that they OFFEREED an agreement. Why did you "respond" to something that he did not say?

Do you have an asshole quota you have to fill each day?

Sadly, I don’t think slavery was going to end without a fight
/----/ I agree. As proof, it still continues today.

Scourge of slavery still claims 40 million victims worldwide ... - UN News

The Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of slavery, Urmila Bhoola, explained that over 40 million people are enslaved around the world, a quarter of them children.Due to problems of environmental degradation, migration and shifting demographics, the scourge of modern-day slavery is expected to grow. Over 60 percent of those in forced labour work in the private sector, Ms. Bhoola said ...

You don’t understand the term agreement do you?

Why would you think that? Slavery ended in Poland without a fight.

Ditto with a lot of other places.

Further, most northerners weren't ready to fight a war to free the black people at that time either.

The war was waged to save the Union, not free the black people.

The rest of the world gave up slavery without a fight

The US needed 600,000 deaths to end it

The Romans fought the Servile War back in the day against Spartacus and his men.

Bloodshed wasn't unheard of.

The abolition of slavery was a result of the War of Northern Aggression, true. But I don't think that the majority of men fighting thought they were fighting for the black man's freedom, but instead were fighting to save the Union. Note how Honest Abe didn't utter a syllable about black people being freed during the Gettysburg address.

Of course I do. The gipper pointed out that the South offered a solution that was rejected.

That is a valid point.

You did not address it. You lied and pretended that he said something else and you responded to your made up shit.

Your actions indicate that you think his point was so strong, that it proves that Lincoln was at fault for the Civil War.

If that is what you think, then grow some balls and admit it.

The so-called south would not peacefully give up slavery. An illegal approach to solving their problem was chosen because they saw a major shift in social standards that meant an end to the inhumanity of their system. They tried and failed to maintain an economy based upon total exploitation, not unlike so many others in history. The unfairness and discrimination of the country in general at the time did not compare to what was being done in the slave states. At a terrible price, slavery ended and a general trend to more human society advanced. Criticize the "north" as much as one may like, defending the "south" is shameful.

A solution for them

The Confederacy wanted a solution that would allow slavery forever.
Didnt work out, did it?

Lincoln offered them a solution
They turned him down

The idea that states joining the Union was a step that could not be voluntarily undone, makes no historical sense.

So, as the gipper said, the south made an offer, that would have led to a peaceful solution.

Lincoln choose to reject it. That was his choice.

Why were you so afraid to address that, that you lied about what the gipper said?

They offered to pay for their portion of the national debt and for all federal facilities on their land. Dishonest Abe said this of their offer, “Fuck you! I intend to murder you and destroy your land.”
Attacking the US doesn't typically lead to good relations. We get very perklempt.
