Apparently we really need a "debate" over the term ICE AGE because y'all are all wrong...

LMFAO!!!

So during the period of "melting" (interglacial) Greenland continued to grow a new ice layer every year.

Thanks for refuting "interglacials" while trying to defend them...
Yeah, something to do with it being really far north....something to do with low sun angles, super cold...you know...sciency stuff.

Sounds like you accept

Greenland froze while North America thawed during the past million years

which rules out Sun, atmosphere, and CO2 in atmosphere as suspects....

Greenland STAYED frozen, while the rest of North America thawed.

Something to do with being in the TEMPERATE zones.

You know, the latitudes where temperature changes. Greenland is uniformly COLD, pretty much all of the time. Alaska too, above a certain latitude. There's this stuff there called TUNDRA. You should research what it is.

Greenland STAYED frozen

In denial of the ACTUAL DATA...

top of northern Greenland completely green 2 million years ago...

Middle of Greenland went from forest to ice age 450k-800k years ago...

Viking settlers originally called it GREEN land because the entire southern tip was GREEN when they first arrived. They were frozen off in the 1400s, one of the primary TALKING POINTS of the 1970s Global COOLING scare....

Your side has ZERO evidence Greenland was ever frozen before that, because it was further SOUTH, further away from North Pole.

Let's educate our chosen CO2 FRAUD Faux Skeptic with a visual.... one piece of land within 600 miles of a pole is IN ICE AGE, the other is outside of 600 miles to the pole and hence NOT in ice age...

Let's see if you can figure out which is which...

Actually a satellite image from summer...

LOL!!!

The precise timing of when the Arctic Ocean overpowered Laurentide Ice Sheet by Ellesmere and the rest of the northern Canadian islands doesn't help your cause at all.

You have no warming.
You have no ocean rise.
You have no breakout in cane activity.
You have 30 years of fudge, fraud, and giving aid and comfort to China.

We'll see if Todd Blanch is a Zionist Fascist Traitor. Pam Bondi clearly always ways.

No backup?

No backup?

He never needs any. He prefers to make things up, than misrepresent a hell of a lot of things.

Like claiming that Greenland was ice free between 450-800 kya. Even giving a reference.

Too bad that is not really what the reference actually says.

The DNA is proof that sometime between 450,000 and 800,000 years ago, much of Greenland was especially green and covered in a boreal forest that was home to alder, spruce and pine trees, as well as insects such as butterflies and beetles.

I find it hilarious that his own reference states "sometime", and he tries to make that mean it was ice free during that entire time.

However, during that 350ky timespan, there were two major interglacials.

That's not the claim. The claim is that data shows the CENTER of Greenland went from forest to ice age between 450k-800k years ago. That is helpful in documenting the speed in which the continent specific ice age grew. It took 1-2 million years for it to go 1000 miles south.

"sometime between 450,000 and 800,000 years ago, much of Greenland was especially green and covered in a boreal forest"

and that was dug out near the center of Greenland.

The center of Greenland is the area now dug out by the young ice age, but yet one data point would lead to that conclusion, "much of Greenland." And we know why the Vikings called it GREEN land, because when they first settled there, the southern tip was green, but not anymore...

The reason the southern tip is not yet "dug out" like the rest is because that ice "just got there" in the past 600 years.

It took the Greenland Ice Age 1-2 million years from "birth" to covering continent head to toe
