If the UN Security Council were run by Muslims, do you think for a moment that there would be a right to self-determination? Do you believe that under Sharia Law, the people would have Social and Cultural Rights?

Do you think that, for a moment, in the first year Hegira, the battle fought at Badr, the forces of Islam gave inalienable rights to the Meccans?

None of the rights that the Hostile Arab Palestinian (HoAP) clutch today, would have been permitted in any regime under Sharia Law.

Tell that to the African refugees Israel is sticking in concentration camps out in the desert.

The people of SA were all one nation.

So are Israeli-Jews and Israeli-Arabs.

The palestinians and Israelis are not.

That's right! So why is Israel deciding what they can and cannot do? Why is Israel restricting their freedom of movement? Restricting their territorial waters? Restricting their international trade? Killing their leaders?

The palestinians should have developed their own government, social services and economy by now.

It's a little hard to do that, when the country next door, keeps murdering the people you put in charge of those jobs.

They could have negotiated, not make demands, a peace agreement which would have led to statehood.

A population under occupation, can only do what it is allowed to do.

Jordan, egypt, lebanon and syria do not have "equal" right with Israel because they are not all part of the same nation or people.

But Israeli-Jews and Israeli-Arabs, are.

As americans there are differing laws and right between states so we are not all equal.

But there are federal laws that apply to everyone and supersede state laws.

Those in the lower 48 certainly don't have the same rights as Alaskans.

That depends on what rights you're referring to.

People in differing places don't pay the same taxes or get the same services.

This isn't an income tax issue.

Palestinians have to deal with what rights their state or authority gives them, not by what rights Israel gives to Israelis.

Right now, they're dealing with what little rights Israel allows them to have.

Billy, I hate to tell you but it would be very difficult for the intelligent readers of this forum to believe that you actually care about the Arabs. If you were such a big humanitarian and actually cared about the Arabs, you wouldn't just be concentrating on Israel but on the larger Middle East where Arabs are being murdered all the time by other Arabs. There is no comparison as to what happened in South Africa when it came to Apartheid and trying to smear Israel with the same image just wouldn't work. If there have been South Africans who have lived under Apartheid in South Africa and actually visited Israel and say there is no Apartheid there, are you challenging their viewpoints? Meanwhile, are we letting all those who snuck into this country stay here when they are caught? I don't think we have opened our borders yet, and I don't think Israel has opened its borders to everyone who feels he can't get work in a Muslim country and has to sneak into Israel. I'll tell you what. Saudi Arabia just deported 50,000 foreign workers from Ethiopia. Why don't you set up shop and find them jobs in some other Muslim country?
