Anyone work with Douglas fir?

I haven't made the coffee table yet (I've got a painting project going in the shop). Here's some of the things I've made. I work a lot with MDF as well. Great stuff for making cabinets.

The white cabinets with the butcher block tops I make for the apartment building that I manage.

All of those are made from Douglas Fir??? Very impressive. It is a solid wood for sure as the thick bark helps to protect the wood from damage from weather and bugs.

I burn it in the woodstove and it can put out the heat alot better than other firs.
